On May 11th, at the common witness of Huang Qifan, the mayor of Chongqing, and Yoo JeongBok, the mayor of Inchon, Association of Industry and Commerce of Chongqing has signed friendly exchange and cooperation agreement with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Inchon, and Chongqing Prosperous Electromechanical Technology Import and Export Limited Company has signed The Strategic Agreement to Strengthen Mutual Cooperation with Oull Selling and Operating Company of Inchon.

Since Chongqing established friendship with Inchon, for 9 years, the rich and colorful exchange activities between two parties in the fi elds of economy and trade, culture and education are frequently held, which have obtained positive results. Chongqing has held “the explanation session of Chongqing’s investment climate”, “Fair of educational exchanges”, “the picture shows of Chongqing’s condition”, “Chongqing food fair”, “Chongqing tourism fair”, “the promotion day of the introduction to the condition of Chongqing and medical technology” and other colorful activities in Inchon. The municipal dance troupe of Inchon has come to Chongqing to perform. The professor Pae Haeyoung of Inchon’s Inha University has been awarded Chongqing’s “Three Gorges Friendship Award” by Chongqing’s government in 2005 because he has tried his best to help the inter-exchange of two parties and built the bridge of friendship between China and Korea. Yoo JeongBok came to Chongqing to have a visit and sign several economic and trade cooperation agreements.

In order to strengthen the international cooperative relationship and promote the trade, investment and all kinds of commercial cooperation between Chongqing and the business circles of Inchon, Korean, at the common witness of Huang Qifan and Yoo JeongBok, the confederation of trade unions of Chongqing has signed Friendly Exchange Protocol with KCCI of Inchon, and the contents include the following items: both parties seek the economic exchange and cooperation of trade and investment between two cities to promote mutual benefit and win-win result; in terms of the economic tendency and related materials and messages about trade and investment of two cities, both parties will have communication with each other to promote the common cooperation of enterprises actively; both parties will provide convenience for the delegations, industrialist who are delegated by the other party and all kinds of projects, for example, to introduce cooperative partner, and forums and help these people and projects actively; both parties should provide convenience and positively support the activities that are held at local place of the enterprises of the other party and actively help the activities of inviting investment of two parties.

At the same time, Chongqing Prosperous Electromechanical Technology Import and Export Limited Company has signed The Strategic Agreement to Strengthen Mutual Cooperation with Oull Selling and Operating Company of Inchon, which has pointed out that both parties will be reciprocal and mutual-trust and cooperate with each other honestly based on the principle of high effi ciency to promote the business.Besides, Yoo JeongBok also visited the Chongqing Foreign Trade Company and held a meeting with Zhang Fengwu, the general manager. Later, Yoo JeongBok, the mayor has also inspected the outlet center of Chongqing CBT import commodities.
