麥地那（Medina）是個(gè)阿語詞，原意為“城市”，現(xiàn)在普遍被用來稱謂阿拉伯國家城市中的傳統(tǒng)古城，也就是城中城。摩洛哥的菲斯，是摩洛哥的四大圣城之首，遠(yuǎn)離中東，卻在當(dāng)今的阿拉伯世界享有舉足輕重的地位。菲斯的麥地那可謂是整個(gè)阿拉伯世界最大的麥地那，臨街的家庭旅館“藍(lán)房子”（Maison Bleue）保持著老房子最原始的風(fēng)貌，隨處體現(xiàn)著摩洛哥人嘆為觀止”的藝術(shù)境界。

Medina is an Arabic word meaning \"city\"， which now refers to an ancient city in the Arab countries and is also called \"a city within a city.\" Fez is the foremost of Morocco's four holy cities； though away from the Middle East， it enjoys a pivotal position in the Arab world today. The Medina of Fez can be described as the Arab world's largest， and its next-to-street family hotel \"Blue House\" （Maison Bleue） still maintains the original style of the old house， and embodies what even the Morocco people call the \"epitome of art.\"
