Crush

Man crush（男人間的欣賞）描述的是一個直男對另一個男人懷有尊敬、仰慕以及崇拜情緒時表現(xiàn)出來的那種強烈感情，而這一切與性無關。

《美國俚語詞典》將have a crush on someone定義為“對某人著迷，尤其是對于年齡較大、更老練的人”。

To be infatuated or enchanted with someone，esp to be secretly in love with someone older and more worldly than oneself.

但這種著迷的狀態(tài)發(fā)生在男人身上，就成了man crush。

美國新聞博客網(wǎng)站《郝芬頓郵報》這樣解釋：

A man crush is something that a straight male has for someone who is usually a public figure， a recognizable name， a celebrity.

Man crush指的是直男對其他人的仰慕，通常是對公眾人物、名流或者明星。

這種感情在女孩之間也存在，叫作girl crush。
