E very time my Eurostar train arrives in London， I would look up to that magnificent glass roof arches in St. Prancras train station， expecting to see the blue sky. This time， the precious winter sun shone on this famous Victorian building， and it has certainly put me in a good mood. I walked through the crowded but orderly station hall， hopped on the one and only London Black Cab on my way to 45 Park Lane Hotel， London.The driver smiled and said that it is an excellent hotel.

The doorman of 45 Park Lane Hotel opened the door and greeted me with a bow. Before entering， I turned around and looked. I was overjoyed to find that Hyde Park was just across the street. I was led to the front desk immediately by two English gentlemen， Raul and Ansis， who is always smartly and perfectly dressed from cufflinks to smile. I already noticed people commenting on them a month earlier while I was checking online. More tourists have begun to pay more attention to Tripadvisor reviews to learn about the firsthand hotel experiences. Under the 45 Park Lane Hotel listing， I recorded one comment from a Mr. Kresavchikk， who said： \"On my way to the hotel， I called to request for a fast check-in. After the arrival at the hotel， I just said my name and witnessed the fastest check-in process in the history. Soon， Lawrence took us to the room. I would love to go again！\"

Then at the front desk， I also made some enquiries about the activities in London， from the exhibition of the Royal College of Art， New Wave bar to the alternative new attractions. To my surprise， Raul answered all the questions to my heart's content. Later， I found that the position of a simple receptionist does not exist and all the receptionists here are actually qualified concierges. For the guests， the advantage of this change is obvious. Now you can get information right here at Check-in or from one of the receptionists on your way to your room. In other hotels， you have to make your way to the concierge eventually to do this.

客房左右兩側(cè)的墻面飾以淺綠色絨布，米黃色地毯用深淺不同的方格色塊來(lái)活躍空間情緒。沉穩(wěn)而高貴的波爾多色則主導(dǎo)了房?jī)?nèi)的家具氣質(zhì)。臥室空間的四面，則由深棕色的寬大木框區(qū)分得一目了然，每一個(gè)面的空間都像獨(dú)立構(gòu)成的一幅畫(huà)，一幅散發(fā)著英式現(xiàn)代貴族氣質(zhì)的油畫(huà)。

I admit that I even fell in love with the hotel hallway， because it is so unique？ The thick beige carpet， woven with Bordeaux red and light brown squares， instantly adds a fashionable and warm atmosphere to the generally narrow hallway that is normally ignored by the designer. Next to the lift， the air freshener sent out a fruity aroma， gentle and misty. Ansis opened the door， a small but meticulous locker room showed up in front of me. Such an arrangement is designed deliberately to widen the distance between the bedrooms and the public aisle for noise isolation. Since the room size is not large， the excellent design would totally depend on the ability of the designer Thierry Despont. He is an architect from New York， an artist， curator and designer， and is referred to as \"the interior designer who changed the world\"， and because of him， the 45 Park Lane Hotel was turned into the modern art of the 30s.

The left and right sides of the walls are decorated with light green velvet， whereas the cream color carpet enlivens the atmosphere with squares of different shades. The furniture is ruled by elegant Bordeaux color. Four sides of the bedroom space are decorated with dark brown wooden frames， and each space looks like an English aristocratic painting.

When I opened the white curtains， Hyde Park revealed itself from the left side of the window. In fact， Thierry Despont has actually designed it in a way that all rooms are able to get a glimpse of Hyde Park. Despont also brought in the latest technology from New York. On the wall hangs a Bang amp; Olufsen TV， and the bedside telephone touch screen is used to control lighting and sound， and one will no longer see the traditional skanky black buttons.

The bathrooms are also worth mentioning. The wall on the bathtub side is a whole side of marble， and the in-built lighting came gently through the stone， rendering the natural marble texture a piece of traditional ink painting. Ansis said that even the black washstand was milled from a single piece of marble. To blend Art Deco elements and luxurious natural materials is the philosophy of the Masters.

All the 45 rooms in the hotel are hung with authentic works of art on the walls. The most amazing part would be the top floor Penthouse on the ninth floor， where you can see the painting by POP artist Peter Blake on the wall. This 175-square-meter twin-bedroom suite has a 180 degree balcony， where you see everything from Hyde Park， Big Ben， The Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.

餐廳墻面是每三個(gè)月更換一次的藝術(shù)空間，此時(shí)，酒店珍藏的達(dá)米恩·赫斯特現(xiàn)代藝術(shù)作品赫然入目。他是新一代英國(guó)藝術(shù)家的主要代表人物之一，主導(dǎo)了90年代英國(guó)的藝術(shù)發(fā)展。

Sitting on my spacious window seat， I asked the French waiter if he could recommend any energy-rich but not over-filling meals. He recommended fruit Muesly_a plate of yogurt sprinkled with raspberries， juicy blueberries， sliced banana， raisins and other dried fruit. Now all one needs is one finest pot of hot green tea. Amidst the lush sunshine and fragrant breeze of Hyde Park， no wonder one would savor their breakfast the way they do with dinner. Time is never enough when you are here.

The restaurant walls are an art space that alternates every three months. At this time of year， art works by Damien Hirst was hung on the wall. He is the main representative of a new generation of British artists that dominated the 1990s the art development in Britain.
