東莞臺(tái)商學(xué)校游泳館意圖創(chuàng)造一個(gè)有不同空間序列層級(jí)與尺度的水合院空間文化,打破常規(guī)的大跨距,大量體體育建筑的設(shè)計(jì)模式.設(shè)計(jì)將原有八水道比賽型制式的功能任務(wù)打散成大,中,小,不同尺度的泳池,與室內(nèi),半室外,與室外的不同空間,適合4歲到18歲不同年齡層的學(xué)童在不同季節(jié)的需求.更重要的是,建筑透過(guò)空間虛實(shí)的對(duì)比與層次序列的趣味安排,使學(xué)童充分享受水的空間文化與樂(lè)趣,而不視上游泳課為畏途,使游泳館的設(shè)計(jì)不只針對(duì)少數(shù)的運(yùn)動(dòng)選手,而是普及的全民運(yùn)動(dòng).
建筑的整體配置圍合了校園的大活動(dòng)廣場(chǎng),以不同尺度大小以斜坡,平臺(tái)與柱廊向廣場(chǎng)開放.建筑本身意圖成為一個(gè)能呼吸的有機(jī)體:大面積的開窗與天窗在夏季完全開敞,充分的對(duì)流空氣;冬季則關(guān)閉門窗成為小量體的室內(nèi)溫水池館,引入陽(yáng)光并減少熱能的流失.建筑造型有如高低二組的大型柱列依層級(jí)排列,虛實(shí)對(duì)比;微傾斜的屋頂板一方面作為太陽(yáng)能吸熱板的底座,一方面展現(xiàn)傳統(tǒng)建筑的起折變化.
The design creates sequential water courtyards with spatial hierarchy and rhythm of solid and void. The project challenges the conventional long-span design for sport facilities which is usually of large volume. It re-programs the swimming activities into several dif ferent sizes of pool: L, M, S, and XS. By adopting various scales of pool for dif ferent age groups and different ways of “swimming”, it cultivates student’s senses for appreciating the culture of water. Rather than just be a facility for sport training, it provides spaces for children of all ages to enjoy swimming classes.
The building also intends to be a facility that is able to “breath”- be able to open itself up completely during the summer and close of f during the winter. By breaking the boundary of indoor and outdoor and creating intermediate spaces in the veranda, it increases the volume of building for the summer, and reduces its volume that needed heating system during the winter. The array of colonnades and the contrast of solid and void make the building form a strong hold at the end of the campus plaza. It also generates a series of slopes and decks,opening the building up to the student’s activities in its foreground.
