Q： Has playing a physicist on television changed how you regard science？

Parsons： I was very fascinated with meteorology （氣象學(xué)） at a young age. I lived on the Gulf Coast， and hurricanes blew through there. That is the class I failed in college： meteorology. I didnt have an interest in the particulars — but what a wonderful basis for a show. I think its one of the greatest things we have going for us （on The Big Bang Theory）.

問：在電視上扮演物理學(xué)家有沒有改變你對科學(xué)的重視程度？

Q： Do you find yourself unconsciously （無意識地） acting like Sheldons odd qualities？

Parsons： I have a tendency to rattle （喋喋不休地說話） like he does. But which came first？ Was I doing that before I did this part？ Im not sure.

問：你有沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)自己會無意間模仿謝耳朵的怪癖？

帕森斯：我有個喋喋不休的毛病很像謝耳朵。不過到底是誰先開始的？是我演這個角色之前就這樣還是之后？我不太確定。

Q： Do Sheldons jokes ever go over your head？

Parsons： Yes and no. David Saltzberg， our science consultant， will （sometimes） put a written joke in formula （公式） form on the whiteboard that I dont get. And sometimes， even after explanation （解釋）， I just dont find it funny. Thats not because its not funny. Its because I am probably a little too slow to get it.

問：謝耳朵的笑話有在你腦海中浮現(xiàn)過嗎？

Parsons： It already happens to a certain degree. All I can do is to keep working， keep talking to people — and whatever it takes to show other roles. It doesnt bother me. I love playing this part.

Parsons： Theres a black Batman shirt I really like. Theres also a light blue T-shirt with the color bars from TV. I like that one a lot.

Q： What are some of your favorite science fiction books， TV shows or movies？

Parsons： My favorite science fiction movie of all time is Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I was a huge Star Wars fan as well — but Close Encounters， I love. It made me feel comforted at the same time. There is life out there.

問：你最喜歡的科幻小說，電視劇或者電影都是什么？

帕森斯：我一直最喜歡的科幻電影是《第三類接觸》。我也是個星戰(zhàn)迷，不過最愛的是《第三類接觸》。那是一部讓我感到很欣慰的片子。在外太空有生命存在。

Q： If you were stranded on an island with no technology， what three things would you bring？

Parsons： A piano， a notepad. And what else？ This is hard. You know what？ Im going to leave the notepad， and Im going to take both my dogs. But theyd die.
