Most of us would kill to be1) making a living in one of the three major professions—athlete, actor, and rock star. However, since most of us have the perspective of being lowly nobodies, just one of those would be more than enough. But all humans fall victim to \"the grass is always greener\" philosophy at some point in their lives. Even with so much already going for them, they can't help but be drawn to another world. What's annoying about it is not so much that they're drawn to it, but rather the fact that some excel in it. Here are some celebrities that are double threats ... Some are even triple threats2).
Emma Watson
British beauty Emma Watson is reminiscent3) of Natalie Portman a decade ago. She's stunningly beautiful; an extremely talented actress who is selective about her projects; Ivy League educated.
And she pulls off4) a pixie5) haircut like nobody's business6). That's no joke—you have no idea how difficult it is for a girl to rock7) that cut with confidence. Take it from someone who has tried and failed ... miserably.
Of course it's only natural that Watson would also be a jock8) too. She's good at everything else, so why wouldn't she be good at sports? Watson grew up playing field hockey and made the team at Brown while studying there.
She may not look that intimidating9), but discount10) Hermione Granger at your own peril11).
George Clooney
Of course international superstar George Clooney was (and probably still is) an exceptionally talented athlete.
As a student in Kentucky's Augusta High School, Clooney was a varsity12) letterman13) in basketball. According to his IMDB14) bio, he pursued a career as a professional athlete before deciding to become an actor. Clooney was actually invited to try out for15) the Cincinnati Reds16) in 1977—he was just 16 years old at the time. He didn't make the team, but the fact that he was even asked to try at that age speaks for itself17).
Matthew Perry
Chandler Bing18) may not look like an intimidating athletic presence, but don't let that look lull19) you into a 1 sense of security. Growing up in Ottawa, Canada, Matthew Perry was actually a nationally ranked tennis player at the age of 13.
Talented in Canada doesn't always translate to talented in the United States, though. In a September 2012 interview with Men's Health, Perry said he realized he couldn't play tennis for a living after moving to Los Angeles when he was 15 years old.
He was getting killed by the opposition after relocating, which is why he eventually made the shift to acting. That being said, Perry would still kick your butt20) all over the tennis court. He still plays in celebrity/charity tournaments regularly.

Tom Cruise
Superstar actor Tom Cruise may not have become the superstar actor he is today if it wasn't for his jock past.
He actually decided to become an actor after landing21) the lead role in his high school musical, Guys and Dolls, which he only pursued because he was sidelined22) from the wrestling team with a knee injury.
He also tore it up on the soccer field back in the day. Outside of high school athletic pursuits, Cruise has proven himself a top-notch23) athlete on the silver screen over and over again throughout the last two decades.
Action films like Mission Impossible, Jack Reacher, Collateral, and Minority Report are what he's best known for. Cruise trains intensely to prepare for roles and is well known as someone who does his own stunts24).
Hugh Jackman
Hugh Jackman? Yeah ... more like Hugh JACKED25) man. Okay, that was a terrible joke. But seriously, just look at that photo! It was impossible to resist.
Australia's national wonder Hugh Jackman somehow glides seamlessly26) between lavish27) Broadway musicals and training to play one of the most badass28) comic book characters of all time.
He may not play any actual sports, but his physical transformation and martial arts training certainly qualifies him as more athletic than almost everyone. Can you believe this guy is almost 47 years old?
