Famous calligrapher Zhang Shouzhen is a member both of Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association and Chinese Youth Hard-pen Calligraphers Association， the vice-president of Mao Calligraphy Seminar of Henan Province， a specialinvited professor of Zhengzhou University， the postgraduates supervisor of Henan University of Technology，etc. He has participated in various exhibitions at home and abroad and some of his artworks have been collected by foreigners. What’s more， he also is the patent holder of several inventions and published some albums.

張守鎮(zhèn)，著名書法家，中國民間文藝家協(xié)會會員，中國民俗學會會員，中國民族民間舞蹈研究會會員，中國青年硬筆書法家協(xié)會常務理事，中國硬筆書法家協(xié)會會員，河南省毛體書法研究會副會長，河南省硬筆書法家協(xié)會常務理事、副秘書長，鄭州大學特聘教授，河南工業(yè)大學碩士研究生導師。

出版《鋼筆字技法》、《鋼筆字速成訓練教材》、《唐詩三百首硬筆書法》、《宋詞三百首硬筆書法》、《元曲三百首硬筆書法》等字帖、教材和專著200余部。主編河南省地方教材《書法藝術(shù)》部分年級課本，現(xiàn)已連印11版。主講的6集電視教學片《小學生學寫字》由河南省電教教材審定委員會審定向全國發(fā)行。

發(fā)明的“田宮格習字法”獲得國家外觀設(shè)計專利；發(fā)明的“摹臨描字帖本”獲得國家實用新型專利。

曾應邀訪問新加坡和馬來西亞，作品在海外展出并被中國大使館和國際友人收藏。
