Guo Guangyou was born in Hui county， Gansu Province in 1966. Now he is a member of calligraphy committee of Calligraphy Arts Photography Association， Xi’an Branch of People’s Bank of China.

Having researched on Chinese traditional culture and calligraphy theory for a long time， he formed his own special calligraphy style. He started his calligraphy creation since 2000 and has participated in various exhibitions and won grand prizes. Many of his artworks have been collected by famous museums and organizations.

郭廣佑，甘肅徽縣人，生于1966年?，F(xiàn)為中國(guó)人民銀行書(shū)法美術(shù)攝影協(xié)會(huì)西安分行分會(huì)書(shū)法專(zhuān)業(yè)委員會(huì)委員。

2000年開(kāi)始創(chuàng)作書(shū)法作品，喜歡楷書(shū)、行草和榜書(shū)，曾于2003年5月獲得中國(guó)當(dāng)代文人書(shū)畫(huà)藝術(shù)大展賽金獎(jiǎng)；2006年4月獲得第三屆“百花獎(jiǎng)”中國(guó)書(shū)畫(huà)新星大賽金獎(jiǎng)。榜書(shū)作品“豐碑”被孔繁森紀(jì)念館收藏。

郭廣佑的書(shū)法功底幼承家學(xué)，隨著他長(zhǎng)期對(duì)傳統(tǒng)文化知識(shí)和書(shū)法理論的深入研讀與積累，廣泛涉獵篆書(shū)、魏碑、唐楷、行書(shū)、草書(shū)的研讀與練習(xí)，逐步形成了獨(dú)特的個(gè)人書(shū)風(fēng)。特別是近年來(lái)專(zhuān)心致力于歐體楷書(shū)的研習(xí)，促成了他書(shū)法作品表現(xiàn)力的穩(wěn)步提升，更奠定了他在書(shū)法領(lǐng)域不斷進(jìn)步與成長(zhǎng)的堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ)。近期榜書(shū)《虎》、《燕舞》則從全方位表現(xiàn)出了作者的思想與才思，點(diǎn)畫(huà)、線(xiàn)條的動(dòng)感充分表現(xiàn)出“字”與“畫(huà)”的辯證關(guān)系。4尺楷書(shū)《心經(jīng)》是近期楷書(shū)逐步走向個(gè)性的嘗試之作。
