京都造型藝術大學的學生又自發(fā)成立了一個名為“紙屋”的臨時工作室，同時考慮了未來遷移這座建筑的可能性。紙筒兩端的鋼節(jié)點用后張預應力鋼桿固定。栱表面的剛度由2.2m×1.2m的紙筒網(wǎng)和結構膠合板實現(xiàn)。膠合板上是帶防水膜的泡沫塑料保溫層。膠合板上的圓形窗洞讓自然光透過泡沫塑料保溫層射入下方的室內(nèi)。此外，學生們在施工中可以用臨時的腳手架穿過窗洞固定上面的膠合板，而無需爬上屋頂。為保證學生的安全，還建立了設計標準，強調安全施工，限制重型機械，采用合適的材料尺寸及標準化的細部。（尚晉 譯）

At Kyoto University of Art and Design, once again students spontaneously set up a temporary workshop of "Paper Studio" and took into consideration the possible relocation of the studio in the future. The steel joints at both ends of the paper tubes are fixed with post-tensioned steel rods. The rigidity of the arch surface is achieved with 2.2m×1.2m paper tube grids and structural plywood. Above the plywood is Styrofoam insulation with a waterproof membrane. Circular cutouts are provided in the plywood to allow natural light to filter through the Styrofoam insulation and into the space below. Furthermore, during construction the students are able to fix the plywood above through the cutouts by aid of temporary scaffolding, without having to climb onto the roof. To ensure the safety of the students, a design criterion was established to emphasize safe construction, limits on heavy machinery, manageable material size and standardized details.

馮江：這是一座充滿幾何感的拱形紙構，由京都造型藝術大學的學生們在校園的空地上搭建而成。拱形由8段折線構成，形狀的切割與構件的連接方式至為重要。長向為多榀相接的紙管結構單元，在環(huán)向上2.2m×1.2m網(wǎng)格的紙管結構和鋼結構共同工作，紙管間隔架以鋼索拉結，接近地面的部分為鋼結構。室內(nèi)是一個頂部和兩端均可采光的完整的工作空間。

青鋒：如果將這個項目中的紙管換做相同強度的鋼管，會得到和失去什么？這是坂茂先生作品中值得思考的問題。在經(jīng)濟性、結構強度、建造便利性、耐久性上，兩種材料并不會有太大的區(qū)別，但是堅硬鋼鐵與柔和紙管之間的感官差別卻是無法改變的。給予圓柱形建筑構件——建筑史上重要的部件——一種全新的性格，其中蘊含的可能性將產(chǎn)生比救災應急更為持久的貢獻。

FENG Jiang: This is an arch paper structure full of geometric sense, constructed by students of Kyoto University of Art & Design. The arch consists of eight broken lines, so that the incision of shape and the connection of components are crucial. Lengthwise are connected paper-tube structural units. Along the arch sections paper tube structure collaborates with steel structure, in a grid of 2.2m×1.2m. The interior is a complete working space with the light from both the top and the gable ends.

QING Feng: If we replace the paper tubes with steel tubes of the same strength, what will we get and what will we lose? This question can be raised for many projects of Mr. Shigeru Ban. There won't be much difference in cost, structural strength, construction convenience and durability, but the coldness of metal and softness of paper tube cannot be erased. Giving cylindrical architectural element - one of the most important elements in architectural history -a new personality, such potential may constitute a more lasting contribution to architecture than mere temporary shelters.
