R. Kelly，全名為Robert Sylvester Kelly（羅伯特·西爾維斯特·凱利），1967年1月8日出生于美國(guó)伊利諾伊州的芝加哥市，美國(guó)創(chuàng)作歌手、唱片制作人。憑借全球超過(guò)一億五千萬(wàn)張的驚人專輯銷量，R. Kelly成為自20世紀(jì)90年代至今最具代表性的R&B;天王。生于芝加哥貧民區(qū)的R. Kelly，童年并不順?biāo)欤麑?duì)父親的印象并不深刻，因?yàn)樗怯赡赣H獨(dú)自撫養(yǎng)成人。R. Kelly的兒時(shí)愿望是成為一個(gè)知名的籃球選手，但在他13歲那年騎著腳踏車經(jīng)過(guò)一個(gè)蠻荒郊區(qū)時(shí)，不良少年為了搶腳踏車用槍擊中了他的肩膀，因此他的籃球夢(mèng)破碎，然而這次意外卻讓上帝為他打開了另一扇窗——他的歌聲及創(chuàng)作才華。一次機(jī)緣巧合，R.
