When I was the junior high school student， I think English was very difficult and useless. So I kept me away from it. In each of test， I got less than 60 marks. But my English teacher encouraged me， that said English was not so hard as they appeared. He asked me first to build up self-trust and then improved my pronunciation. After a lesson were given， he often gave me some advice how to learn English. Under his tireless instruction I madesurprising rapid progress. In the final exam， I got over 90 marks.

New York city can be a very danger city—especially at night. Many people dare not go out lonely in the streets after dark. This problem is worse for a single woman as Miss Green. As a singer， she had to drive alone to clubs lately at night. Then she had to drive home after shows. She needed a “friend” when she drove to working or back home. She found a man-shaped balloon naming Bob and set him in the passenger seat for her car while she drove at night. People in the streets think the woman driver had a man with her. Thus he felt safe.

Fire is not quite useful in our everyday life but it is very dangerous. But we must keep away from all the things which can easy catch fire. When we discover fire in our building， we should call up the fire station at once. In the same time we should call our neighbors out and tried to stop the fire from spreading. If you can’t， leaving the building so quickly as possible. Do remember we mustn’t come back to the building until firefighters come to put off the fire.
