【情景一】

1.What’s the date?What’s today? 今天是幾號(hào)？

A:John,my father isn’t there at all.Are you kidding? 約翰,我爸爸根本不在那兒。你沒(méi)開(kāi)玩笑吧？

B:Poor fellow!What’s today,buddy?可憐的家伙。哥兒們，今天是幾號(hào)?

A:It’s...Oh,it’s the first of April,April Fools’ Day! 是……哎呀，四月一日，愚人節(jié)！

B:You forgot all about it,didn’t you?全給忘了，是不是？

【情景二】

2.What day is it?/What day is today?/What day of the week’s it?今天星期幾？

A:What day is today?Tuesday?今天星期幾？星期二嗎？

糖龍?jiān)捯魟偮?，倉(cāng)庫(kù)里忽然傳來(lái)一聲木棍敲擊的重響，緊接著，原本平靜的倉(cāng)庫(kù)一陣騷亂，哀嚎、求助、尖叫、吱吱聲接連響起。

B:Yeah.I bet you didn’t forget everything.對(duì),我想你沒(méi)

把什么事忘了吧。

A:What will we do this evening,do you know?我們今天

晚上干什么，你知道嗎？

B:Oh,Mary’s birthday party!哦！瑪麗的生日派對(duì)！

3.What time is it?/What’s the time?/What’s the time by your watch?/What time please?/Could you give me the time?/Could you tell me what time it is?/Do you know what time it is?幾點(diǎn)了？

A:What time is it,please?請(qǐng)問(wèn)幾點(diǎn)了？

B:Five to four.Oh,no.My watch has stopped!差五分四點(diǎn)。啊，不對(duì)，我的表停了!

【情景四】

4.Ⅰt’s...now./The hour is.../My watch says.../ Ⅰt’s...by my watch./Ⅰt’s...o’clock sharp. 現(xiàn)在時(shí)間是……

A:Can you tell me the time?I’ve got an appointment at 8:30.幾點(diǎn)了？我八點(diǎn)半有約會(huì)。

B:It’s 8 sharp by my watch.我的表正好八點(diǎn)。

A:Gee!There’s only 30 minutes to go.呀，只有三十分鐘了。

英語(yǔ)時(shí)間通常用以下兩種方法表達(dá)：

1.直接表達(dá)法

A.用基數(shù)詞+o’clock來(lái)表示整點(diǎn)，注意o’clock須用單數(shù)，可以省略。如：eight o’clock → 8：00

B.用基數(shù)詞按鐘點(diǎn)+分鐘的順序直接寫出時(shí)間。如：

2.間接表達(dá)法

A.如果分鐘數(shù)少于30分鐘，可用分鐘+past+鐘點(diǎn)表示，其中past是介詞，意思是“過(guò)”。如：

twenty past four→ 4：20

B.如果分鐘數(shù)多于30分鐘，可用（60分鐘-原分鐘數(shù)）+to+（原鐘點(diǎn)數(shù)+1）表示，其中to是介詞，意思是“差”。如：

8:35 →twenty-five to nine九點(diǎn)差二十五分鐘

注：① 當(dāng)分鐘數(shù)是15分鐘時(shí)，可用名詞quarter（一刻鐘）表示。如：

② 當(dāng)分鐘數(shù)是30分鐘時(shí)，可用名詞half（一半）表示。如：

③ 若想表明是上午，可在時(shí)間后加上am或a.m.。如：thirteen past six a.m.（上午六點(diǎn)十三分）；若想表明是下午，可在時(shí)間后加上pm或p.m.。如：four o’clock p.m.（下午四點(diǎn)）

④若表示的時(shí)間不夠準(zhǔn)確，可在時(shí)間前加上介詞about。如：about eight（大約八點(diǎn)）等。

⑤在時(shí)間前面應(yīng)用介詞at來(lái)表示在的意思。如：at about five thirty-five p.m.大約在下午五點(diǎn)三十五分等。
