查爾斯·金斯利(Charles Kingsley，1819~1875)，英國作家、牧師、劍橋大學(xué)近代史教授。其代表作為童話《水孩子》(The Water-Babies)，講述了一個(gè)掃煙囪的男孩如何變成水孩子，并在仙女的感化、教育和引導(dǎo)下闖蕩世界，經(jīng)歷各種奇遇，最后克服性格缺陷長大成人的故事。
