This is a true story that happened on a Sunday afternoon.

My mother and I went to take a bath. After we finished bathing， it was six o’clock. I felt very hungry. I thought my mother must be hungry too.

Luckily， she brought a small cake in her bag. But how could such a small cake satisfy two hungry persons? My mother gave me the cake， but left nothing for herself. If I ate the whole cake， what could my mother have? I also knew that my mother would not accept it if I only said， “Mom， you are hungry， too. The cake is for you.”

“Why not try another way?” I thought for a while. Then I pretended that I didn’t like the cake at all. “Mom， the cake tastes terrible，” I said. “Really?” Mother was very surprised. “It smells good. Well， I’ll have it.”

“The cake is delicious，” she said to herself while she was having it. I could not help laughing. Mother was more surprised. “What is the matter， dear?” “I’ve just told you a white lie.” “A white lie? Oh， I understand now. You’ve just played a trick on me!” We both laughed happily. I felt very hungry， but what I did made me very happy！

一個善意的謊言

這是一個真實的故事，它發(fā)生在一個星期天的下午。

我和媽媽一起去洗澡。洗完澡之后六點(diǎn)了。我覺得很餓。我想媽媽一定也餓了吧。

幸運(yùn)的是，媽媽包里帶了塊小蛋糕。但是這么小的一塊蛋糕怎么夠兩個饑餓的人吃呢？媽媽把這塊蛋糕給了我，但她自己什么也沒有。如果我吃了這整塊蛋糕，那媽媽吃什么呢？我也知道如果我只跟媽媽說：“媽媽，你也餓了，這塊蛋糕給你吧！”她是不會接受的。

“為什么不試試其他方法？”我想了一會兒。然后我假裝一點(diǎn)兒也不喜歡那塊蛋糕?！皨寢專@個蛋糕不好吃！”我說?！罢娴膯?？”媽媽很吃驚?！八勂饋砗芟惆?。好吧，我吃了吧。”

“這個蛋糕很好吃啊?！彼叧赃呑匝宰哉Z。我忍不住笑了起來。媽媽更覺得奇怪了：“寶貝，怎么了？”“我剛才說了一個善意的謊言。”“一個善意的謊言？噢，我現(xiàn)在明白了。你剛剛捉弄我了！”我們都開心地大笑起來。雖然我感覺很餓，但是我所做的事讓我覺得很高興！
