If you pay attention to the advertisements on TV or in the newspaper， you will find they have changed a lot. Advertisements improve with social progress and aim at satisfying the desires and needs of people. However， they also have some bad characteristics. They sometimes present us with beautiful pictures and moving words but the goods fail to come up to standard. So， we should not blindly trust advertisements.

A week ago， I tried Sunshine Toothpaste. But it didn’t make my teeth as white as it told me in the advertisement. Instead， it tasted terrible. Yesterday， my little sister told me she had tried Beauty Cream， and felt quite pleased because it made her skin soft and smooth just as the ad had said， so I know that it is wrong to take a skeptical attitude toward every ad.
