Li Chao was born in 1974. His native place is Jinzhou， Liaoning province. He graduated from the departmentof fine arts education of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1998. From 2007 to 2008， he studied in Academy ofArts Design， Tsinghua University. Now， he is a teacher of Bohai Shipbuilding Vocational College， and amember of Liaoning Artists Association. He used to attend various kinds of exhibitions， such as 2002 Jiade OnLine Small Scale Oil Painting Joint Exhibition， 2008 Urban Solo Exhibition of Ku Gallery， the 2nd， 3rd， and 4thYouth Artists Exhibition of Liaoning， and so on.
