英語(yǔ)中有些單詞看上去只是由名詞的單數(shù)變成了復(fù)數(shù),但實(shí)際上單詞的意義發(fā)生了很大的變化,不信快來看看吧!

1. air和airs

air意思是“空氣、大氣”。We must breathe fresh air. (我們要呼吸新鮮空氣。)

airs意思是“架子、神氣”。put on airs(擺架子)

2. arm和arms

arm意思是“臂膀”。Tom held his father in his arms. (湯姆用雙手抱住了他的父親。)

arms意思是“武器”。Does the police force carry arms? (警察部隊(duì)帶武器了嗎?)

3. blue和blues
