《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》八級(jí)水平對(duì)語言技能中閱讀技能提出的要求是：(1)能識(shí)別不同文體的特征;(2)能通過分析句子結(jié)構(gòu)理解難句和長句;(3)能理解閱讀材料中不同的觀點(diǎn)和態(tài)度;(4)能根據(jù)學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)的需要從多種媒體中獲取信息并進(jìn)行加工處理;(5)能在教師的幫助下欣賞淺顯的文學(xué)作品;(6)除教材外，課外閱讀量應(yīng)累計(jì)達(dá)到35萬詞以上。

《考綱》對(duì)閱讀能力的要求是：要求考生讀懂簡易的英語文學(xué)作品、科普文章、公告、說明、廣告以及書、報(bào)、雜志中關(guān)于一般性話題的簡短文章并回答相關(guān)問題。它要求學(xué)生能(1)理解語篇主旨大意；(2)理解文中具體信息；(3)根據(jù)上下文提供的線索推測(cè)生詞的詞義；(4)做出簡單的判斷和推理；(5)理解文章的基本結(jié)構(gòu)；(6)理解作者的觀點(diǎn)、意圖和態(tài)度。

在高考中，閱讀理解始終是重頭戲，占30分。它采取“多項(xiàng)選擇題”的考查形式，干擾項(xiàng)目的設(shè)置具有一定的模糊性，它不僅能檢測(cè)出考生理解、概括、推理等邏輯思維能力，而且對(duì)考生的心理素質(zhì)也是一種檢驗(yàn)。可以說，閱讀理解的成敗決定了整個(gè)英語考試的成敗。因此培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的解閱讀理解題的能力顯得尤為重要。下面結(jié)合09年的江蘇高考題談一談如何做好閱讀理解題。

一般來講，閱讀理解可以分為四種題型，它們是細(xì)節(jié)理解題、猜測(cè)詞義題、推理判斷題和主旨大意題。

一、細(xì)節(jié)理解題

細(xì)節(jié)理解題的題型特點(diǎn)是：答案與原文直接掛鉤，在原文中一目了然，可從文中直接找到。它屬直接解答性問題，是閱讀理解題中最簡單的一種。

它的設(shè)問方式一般有以下一些形式：

1.Which of the statements is true?

2.In the passage,which of the following is mentioned/not mentioned?

3.All the following statements are true/not true,except….

4.What is the fact about……according to the passage?

5.Choose the right order of the events given in the passage.

如09江蘇高考題第56、57兩題就屬于細(xì)節(jié)理解題。

56.While watching TV with others,women Usually talk a lot because they

A.are afraid of awkward silence with their families and friends

B.can both talk and watch the screen at the Same time

C.think they can have a good time and develop relationships

D.have to explain the plot and body language to their husbands

本題選C。 根據(jù)文章第一段中的＂Besides,women consider that the point of all getting together is to have a good time and develop relationships--not just to sit there like couch potatoes staring at the screen.＂可以得出答案。

57.After a vacation with her girlfriend,a woman would talk to her again on the phone for hours in order to .

A.experience the happy time again B.keep a close tie with her

C.recommend her a new scenic spot D.remind her of something forgotten

本題選B。根據(jù)文章中第三段中的＂but a woman sees it as a means of bonding.＂可以得出答案。后面的例子，即＂A woman can spend two weeks on vacation with her girlfriend and,when she returns home,telephone the same girlfriend and talk for another two hours.＂是為了解釋說明這個(gè)觀點(diǎn)。

解題技巧:

1.堅(jiān)決遵循“本本主義”,文章里有什么就用什么,不可憑感覺發(fā)揮做題。

2.一般可以在文章中直接或間接找到答案,但是不可能與閱讀材料一模一樣,而是用不同的詞語或句型表達(dá)相同的意思。題干＋正確選項(xiàng)的信息值等于或者約等于原文中某句的信息值。

3.善于利用因果，類比，時(shí)間，空間的關(guān)系將零碎的細(xì)節(jié)組成一個(gè)有機(jī)整體。

二、猜測(cè)詞義題

猜測(cè)詞義題是要求學(xué)生根據(jù)文章所給信息，猜出某一特定的單詞的意思或具體所指的一類題型。猜詞技巧是高考英語“閱讀理解題”考查的一個(gè)重要方面，具備較強(qiáng)的詞義判斷能力是非常重要的。

它的設(shè)問方式一般有以下一些形式：

1.In Line … ,the word“it” refers to___________.

2.In Line …,the word“it”could best be replace by___.

3.InParagraph…,theword…standfor_________.

4.As used in the passage,the phrase…suggests_____.

5.The word…in the passage means________.

6.The word… (Line…)could best be replaced by____.

7.According to the passage,the word…means_____.

8.The passage used the word…to refer to_________.

如09江蘇高考題第70題就屬于猜測(cè)詞義題。

70.The underlined word“dissolve”is used to express the idea that organic matter and minerals from soil are .

A.rushed away into the river

B.cleaned and purified by water

C.destroyed and carried away by water

D.mixed with water and become part of it

本題選D。dissolve所在的句子是“As water percolates（滲透）downward，it dissolves organic matter and minerals from the soil and carries them to deeper layers.”本句的意思是：水滲透下來以后，它____了泥土中的有機(jī)質(zhì)和其他物質(zhì)，并帶著它們到更深的層面。由此我們可以知道dissolve的意思是“mixed with water and become part of it”。

解題技巧:

1.根據(jù)上下文進(jìn)行推理猜測(cè)

2.構(gòu)詞法:根據(jù)詞根,詞綴判斷詞義

3.詞性加搭配:先判斷生詞在文章中的詞性,再看它與哪些詞語可以搭配,最后根據(jù)自己的常識(shí)推測(cè)。

4.找同義詞,同義解釋,反義詞,反義解釋:在上下文中找出生詞的其他表示方法,由此推斷其含義。

三、推理判斷題

推理判斷題是要求學(xué)生以文章提供的事實(shí)為依據(jù)，經(jīng)過分析,思考,形成一種觀點(diǎn)或判斷的一類題型。此類題的特點(diǎn)是讓考生根據(jù)已知的文字或事實(shí)，推斷出沒有直接表達(dá)的內(nèi)容。推斷的內(nèi)容包括作者的態(tài)度、某個(gè)人物的情感、事情發(fā)展的原因或結(jié)果等。

它的設(shè)問方式一般有以下一些形式：

1.The passage implies/suggests/shows/that______.

2.It can be inferred/seen/concluded from the passage that___.

3.The purpose of this passage is_______.

4.We can learn/conclude from the passage that____.

5.Judging from…we find/know that______.

6.Which of the following can be concluded from the passage?

如09江蘇高考題第62、63兩題就屬于推理判斷題。

62.It can be inferred that before the little girl finally went out to enjoy the first snow of winter，the teacher had to help her put on her boots .

A.once B.twice C.three times D.four times

本題選D。文章第三段描寫的是老師第一次為“我”穿鞋。由第四段中“she struggled to get the boots off and went through the joyless task of putting them on again.”可知是第二次。由第四段中“She pushed and shoved.less gently this time，and the boots were returned to their proper place on my feet.”可知是第三次。文章最后老師問“我”的手套在哪里，“我”回答“I didn't want to lose them.so I put them into the toes of my boots.”由此可以推知，老師為了取出手套，必須脫掉“我”的靴子，因此，最終還要再為＂我＂穿一次鞋。最后我們可以得出結(jié)論：老師要幫小女孩穿四次鞋。

63.Which of the following sentences from the text BEST indicates that the teacher is very considerate?

A.In her calm，motherly voice she said，“By the end of winter，…”（Paragraph 2）

B.With the grace that only experience can bring，she struggled to…（Paragraph 4）

本題選D。分析四個(gè)選項(xiàng)我們可以知道：A選項(xiàng)說明老師是像媽媽一樣的；B選項(xiàng)說明老師是有經(jīng)驗(yàn)并且動(dòng)作很優(yōu)雅；C選項(xiàng)說明老師很有耐心；D選項(xiàng)“她盡力假裝我不是一個(gè)煩人的小女孩”，說明她是“為他人著想的，體諒的，體貼人的”。

解題技巧:

1.根據(jù)考生已有的常識(shí)是正確的,但是卻不是基于文章,一切以文章為準(zhǔn)。

2.不是文中明確說明的內(nèi)容,沒有引申推理就不是正確選項(xiàng),但不可推理過頭,引申過度。

3.正確選項(xiàng)大多含義深刻,不是常識(shí)選項(xiàng)

4.注意那些似乎話中有話的間接表達(dá)句,它們往往采用說半句,打比喻,反著說的方式,讓考生有推理的余地。

5.注意含義深刻或結(jié)構(gòu)復(fù)雜的句子.

四、主旨大意題

主旨大意題是要求學(xué)生把握全文主題和理解中心思想，分析，歸納文章的段落大意，重要情節(jié)，人物特征，環(huán)境特點(diǎn)等的一類題型。

它的設(shè)問方式一般有以下一些形式：

1.What is the main idea/topic of the passage?

2.This article is mainly about_________.

3.What does the passage mainly discuss?

4.Which of the following best sums up/states the theme of the passage?

5.The passage tells us________.

6.Which of the following statements best expresses/summarizes the main idea of the passage?

主旨大意題的干擾項(xiàng)(錯(cuò)誤選項(xiàng))有以下一些特點(diǎn)：

1.概括范圍太窄，只表達(dá)局部信息或某一細(xì)節(jié)，不能概括整篇文章的主旨大意。

2.概括范圍太寬，所表達(dá)的內(nèi)容超出或多于文章闡述的內(nèi)容。

3.無關(guān)信息：即文章中未提到、或找不到語言依據(jù)的信息。

最后，我用幾句話來概括做閱讀理解的解題技巧：細(xì)節(jié)推理要小心,善用文章和題干,本本主義是為先;詞義猜測(cè)要機(jī)靈,活用句意和詞形,上下文中把義尋;推理判斷得謹(jǐn)慎,謹(jǐn)記推理和引申,切記不可太過分;主旨大意須概括,重視轉(zhuǎn)折和反復(fù),首末句段最重要;以上若能靈活用,再加勤思和多練,閱讀理解必攻克!
