When you've been diagnosed as having an allergy to fish,your first question is likely to be: “Which fish? Cod? Salmon?Sturgeon? Freshwater? Saltwater?”
Although all fish are not created equal,most people who have a fish allergy are allergic to several types of fish, so I generally recemend that if you're allergic to one type, avoid them all both freshwater and saltwater varieties, canned, fresh, sushi, you name it. Allergic reactions to fish and shellfish can be severe and are often a cause of anaphylaxis.
