* blast: great fun， something cool 很有趣，很酷。I went to the bar last night and had a blast drinking beers and listening to the music.(我昨晚去了酒吧喝啤酒聽音樂，很開心。)

* a bit: 一點點。通常還用 a little bit. 如果老外問你的英語水平，你可以這樣回答：Just a little bit. 使用頻率要比a little高。

* fake: not real， 1. 假的。例如：Fake brand name clothes are always much cheaper than the real ones. (假的名牌服裝比真的要便宜得多。)

* corny: dated， simple and sentimental 陳腐的， 簡單的、傷感的。My father always gives me corny advice before I leave the house， like， look both ways before you cross the road. (我爸爸常常在我離家前給我些無聊的建議，諸如，過馬路之前先看看兩邊。)

*trio ：三重唱。這里引申為三人組。tri- 開頭的通常有“三”的意思。如：triangle: 三角形，trialogue：三方談話， triathlon：鐵人三項。

* I do prefer ： 我確確實實更喜歡…… do是強調(diào)。 如：I do love you. （我真的很愛你。）

* dominant ： 統(tǒng)治的，支配的。Are you a dominant lady?

* plenty ： 很多， 同義詞還有 a lot。 I have plenty of CDs you can listen to.(我有很多CD你可以聽聽。)
