中學(xué)生英語·外語教學(xué)與研究 2008年12期

小強(qiáng)博士 男，2001年畢業(yè)于上海外國語大學(xué)，獲文學(xué)博士學(xué)位；2007年赴英倫訪學(xué)，現(xiàn)任教于華中師范大學(xué)英語系。任教十余年來，始終對(duì)English teaching in secondary schools（中小學(xué)英語教學(xué)）抱有濃厚的興趣；赴英國訪學(xué)期間，更是通過實(shí)地參觀、訪問、旁聽等方式詳細(xì)了解了國外中小學(xué)英語教學(xué)的現(xiàn)狀。希望借助《中學(xué)生英語》與全國的英語愛好者，尤其是青少年朋友們交流。
Through the following values schools will promote citizenship. 通過以下價(jià)值觀的培養(yǎng)，學(xué)校將提高學(xué)生的公民意識(shí)。
Challenge: We are not afraid to accept new ideas and overcome problems. 挑戰(zhàn)意識(shí)：不懼困難，樂于接受新思維。
Respect: We know that everybody is equally important. 相互尊重：人無貴賤，一律平等。
Concern for the Environment: We respect our environment and look after our surroundings. 環(huán)保意識(shí)：重視環(huán)境，關(guān)愛家園。
Achievement: We take pride in our own achievements and help others to achieve theirs. 成就感：為自己的進(jìn)步自豪，為他人的進(jìn)步出力。
Justice and Fairness: We treat everyone equally and fairly. 公平公正：平等公正待人。
Effort: We always try to do the best we can. 奮斗意識(shí)：凡事盡心盡力。
Respect for truth: We value honesty and always try to do what is right. 尊重事實(shí)：注重誠信，從善而為。
Tolerance: We respect the views and beliefs of others. 寬恕之心：尊重他人觀點(diǎn)與信仰。
Everyone at school has the right to work and socialize (社會(huì)交際) in a safe environment. We must all help to make the possible by recognizing our rights and our responsibilities. 學(xué)校一切人等均應(yīng)在安全的環(huán)境下工作及與人交往。人人都應(yīng)明白自己的權(quán)益與責(zé)任，共建美好校園。
