I’m Not Swimming
A naughty boy was swimming in a private part of the river when the owner saw him.
“Hey!”he shouted,“you can’t swim here!”
“I’m not swimming.”the boy shouted back,“I’m stopping myself sinking.”

Why Not Build the City in the Country?
A town-dweller was visiting the country and was prising the cleanliness of the air.
“So healthy to breathe!”he exclaimed.“No pollution like the city.”
“Ah!” replied a local,“I can’t understand why they don’t build city in the country!”

Mother:I left two pieces of cakes in the cupboard this morning.Johnny,and now there is only one piece left. Can you explain that?
Johnny:Well,I suppose it was so dark that I didn’t notice the other.
