Truth
Truth is a true feeling, the true fact. From our childhood, we have been taught to be a true person. If one does not tell truth, he will be scolded1 by parents. \"Don't tell lies2\" is the advice one has been given all his life.
The story of the young shepherd3 is known to almost all Chinese. The young shepherd tells a lie that a walf4 is coming. He tells the lie once, twice. The third time when he shouts out loudly that a wolf is coming, no one listens to him. This time he tells the truth, but it is too late. He is eaten by the wolf.
The story is instructive5 It is used to teach children to be honest. Try to be a true person. It makes life easy. If you put on a mask all the time, you can be very tired.
Truth is an ideal. Many people live a true life. They experience the true feeling in the world. They are true to themselves, true to others. The true life is healthy both to body and to mind. It is pure and simple.

Japanese Enjoy a Long life
Good health is important to people. I read in papers that Japanese are the people who live the longest life in the world now. The average1 people live more than 80s. I am surprised at the news.
It is said that in Japan people are living a life of tension because of the competitions. It seems that they cannot live long by living in such a country. The fact seems to tell another story.
I come to see the reason why they live long. I think one important fact is that they enjoy a high standard of living. It is true that they are faced with competitions in the country, but the same is true that they are provided with all kinds of comfortable living conditions. After the hard work they relax them a lot, and enjoy themselves with good food and exercises.
They are on the whole well-educated, so they know how to live and how to live healthily. There are other factors as well. I read in a book that women in Japan stay at home after they are married or have a child. Unlike women in China who continue to work after marriage or the birth of children, Japanese women have more time and leisure2 at home.
I think of other factors carefully. The make-up3 of their food differs a lot from what we have. They eat fish a lot since they live on the islands. Fish is a food of high nutrition. Different from other countries, the food they enjoy has less fat. This may be one reason that they live long. Another very important fact is that in Japan it is much less polluted. They have fresh air to breathe, and clean water to drink. The environment they live in is close to sea. The climate may be just right for human body. The natural condition is favorable to them.
All these may contribute to making Japanese live long and stay healthy.

People are More Concerned About Their Health
Today people are more concerned about their health. Why? The reason is that at the present time people are making more money, so they can afford to buy more comforts1 to enjoy life. Another reason is that there is more pressure2 from work and life. They feel very tired. Still more important is that with the development of the industry, in cities particularly, the air and water are more and more polluted.
People are worried about the health. We see they eat more carefully, drink more carefully. They take great care about things concerning their daily3 life. In the supermarket we see vegetables and other products are carefully packed. Some are marked, \"Organic4 Food\". These sell well, for they are fresh and clean.
If you go out in the morning we can find that a lot of people are going out doing exercises. Before a day of work, they would like to be more fit in body and mind. I hear the adults say they are facing a lot of things in their work, and doing lots of things. They are worried that they may get older before the age. In fact many kinds of bars are open. Some people like going there for relaxation, it makes them feel easy after a day of hard work. Even we students like to enjoy ourselves by going to many recreation center. They provide a lot of activities for people. The service there is good. One of the bars is providing the service of fresh air. There you can hope to breathe in more fresh and clean air. It gives people the feeling that they are back in nature again. Everywhere you can hear people talk about the ways to improve their health. My grand father is now in his seventies. He develops a way to live regularly. He takes good care of himself. Before he goes to bed every day, he puts his feet in warm water for two hours. He even has a special way to wash his face. He says it helps blood to circulate around his body.
People realize the importance to be healthy and fit in body and mind. They care much about their environment. They do a lot to improve the air and water conditions. They are doing more and more to make the life more enjoyable.
