Northwest Airlines announcedthat it will accelerate theretirement of its remaining 12DC 10-30 aircraft in service. The airlinesaid that during the next seven months，it will replace DC10 aircraft with newAirbus A330s and Boeing 747-400aircraft being returned to service.Currently， seven routes are served withthe DCl0.
