China and ASEAN are linked by common mountainsand rivers， and closely related and mutually dependent.What is to be proud of is that we have kept traditionalfriendship and trade contacts for thousands of years. We areglad that we choose each other first and establish the economiccommunity——China-ASEAN Free Trade Area(CAFTA).In the economic and trade history between ASEAN and China，we have never been so close and active that we have enteredinto the golden period. The development of our relations haveproved and will further prove that we need each other and theeconomy of East Asia even the economy of world will getprofit from it.
