畢業(yè)于國(guó)內(nèi)知名大學(xué)，托福、GRE成績(jī)優(yōu)異，擁有美國(guó)名牌大學(xué)的全額獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，簽證官卻兩度對(duì)他說(shuō)“不”。問(wèn)題究竟出在哪里？

所帶材料:護(hù)照、DS156、157、158表、中信銀行簽證費(fèi)收據(jù)、I-20表、大學(xué)畢業(yè)生就業(yè)協(xié)議書

第一次簽證（2004.5.28）:先按指印，右手食指完了是左手食指。

Me: Good morning， sir.

Visa officer: Good morning. Why do you go to us？

Me: I will pursue my PhD in some University at mathematic department.

Visa officer: You get full financial aid？

Me: Yes， I get the full tuition waiver and teaching assistance.

Visa officer: What are you doing now?

Me: I am the undergraduate student in Zhongshan University and I will graduate in the coming June.

Visa officer:You have been to Japan?

Me: Yes， it was organized by Guangdong province education office and we communicated with Japanese university students and we visited Japanese university.

Visa officer: What field?

（那個(gè)visa officer在說(shuō)field的時(shí)候沒(méi)有發(fā)d的音，聽起來(lái)很像fell， 糾纏了十幾秒，我才知道他說(shuō)的是field）

Me: Mathematics.

(這時(shí)visa officer就開始撕紙條準(zhǔn)備給我visa了，本人自然是欣喜若狂)

Visa officer: What specific major?

Me: I would like to study statistics and actuary math.

（這時(shí)visa officer的臉色一下就變了，氣氛也緊張了起來(lái)，紙條也不再撕了）

Visa officer: What will you do after graduation?

Me: Working in an insurance company.

(這時(shí)visa officer回過(guò)頭來(lái)再看我的DS表，我就等著他問(wèn)我下一個(gè)問(wèn)題，過(guò)了7秒鐘)

Visa officer: I am sorry.

（我被拒簽了）

Me: Why？

Visa officer: I don't believe you will come back.

Me: Why you don't believe?

(他還是說(shuō)“我不信”，然后就走進(jìn)office了)

太變態(tài)了，連我的就業(yè)協(xié)議書都沒(méi)給機(jī)會(huì)拿出來(lái)，無(wú)語(yǔ)……

第二次（2004.6.15）：和上回一樣按指紋，

Me: Good morning， sir.

Visa officer: Good morning. You will study in Auburn.

Me: Yes.

Visa officer: Who will pay for you?

Me: Some University. I get the full financial aid.

(然后visa officer看了我的I-20表)

Visa officer: Do you know why you are refused last time?

Me: Last time the visa officer asked me what I would do after my graduation， I said I would work in an insurance company. Then I had not time to show my material before he refused me.

Visa officer: Do you take your material this time.

Me: Yes， here.

(我把我的就業(yè)協(xié)議給了他，但他不識(shí)中國(guó)字)

Visa officer：What is this？

Me: This is protocol. I will work in PICC. Do you know PICC？

Visa officer: Yes.

Me: This is the protocol with PICC， I will work in this company after my graduation.

Visa officer: What will you study?

Me: Statistics and actuary math.

Visa officer: How many universities give you offer?

Me: Only one.

Visa officer: How many universities you apply?

Me: Six.

(然后那個(gè)visa officer就不說(shuō)話一直看我的DS表)

Me: what I will do include organizes and analyzes data; make decision according to the result of data analysis. What I will study in auburn includes mathematics and some other courses， such as finance， insurance and so on.

(那個(gè)visa officer還是一直看我的DS表，話也不說(shuō)一句，給我的感覺(jué)基本就是對(duì)牛彈琴)

Me: Sir， do you need me to go on speaking?

（似乎沒(méi)聽到似的）

Me: Sir， do you need me to answer any question?

Visa officer: No.

(過(guò)了10秒鐘我又被拒簽了)

Me: Why?

Visa officer: Next one……

與簽證官交流要察言觀色、掌握技巧

自我點(diǎn)評(píng):我覺(jué)得最大的失敗是簽證官可能會(huì)以為就一個(gè)學(xué)校給我獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金我都去，所以我有移民傾向。實(shí)際上，我應(yīng)該主動(dòng)說(shuō)，如果我有移民傾向我就不會(huì)只申請(qǐng)6所學(xué)校了，我之所以只申請(qǐng)6所學(xué)校，是因?yàn)槲矣忻鞔_的目標(biāo)才只選了6所學(xué)校。還有我應(yīng)該把我導(dǎo)師的homepage遞上去就好了。另外我應(yīng)該在問(wèn)完是否還需要我回答什么問(wèn)題之后緊跟著說(shuō):Sir， I just want to study in this university， even myself I never think of staying in your country and if you think I have immigrant trend please ask me some more questions and I am confident I can erase your doubt and hesitate. I don't want to destroy my future just because one or two sentences.

專家點(diǎn)評(píng)：從作者的兩次拒簽經(jīng)歷可以看出，哪怕是一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)的疏忽和失誤都將導(dǎo)致拒簽。簽證官每天要面對(duì)眾多的申請(qǐng)人，與之交談時(shí)間非常有限，所以當(dāng)申請(qǐng)人發(fā)現(xiàn)情況“不妙”的時(shí)候，需要立即彌補(bǔ)，馬上做出合理解釋，爭(zhēng)取在簽證官下決心拒簽之前改變不利地位。另外，語(yǔ)言的使用也非常講究。有時(shí)候，一句話換一個(gè)角度來(lái)說(shuō)效果會(huì)大相徑庭。最后，建議申請(qǐng)人把相關(guān)重要文件附上英文版，方便簽證官閱讀了解文件內(nèi)容，因?yàn)楹炞C官對(duì)文件的任何微小的質(zhì)疑都可能導(dǎo)致拒簽。
