新華社北京1月7日電（記者邵藝博）國(guó)務(wù)委員、國(guó)家禁毒委員會(huì)主任王小洪7日應(yīng)約同美國(guó)白宮國(guó)家禁毒政策辦公室主任古普塔視頻通話(huà)。

王小洪表示，在兩國(guó)元首戰(zhàn)略引領(lǐng)下，過(guò)去一年中美禁毒合作取得積極進(jìn)展。雙方應(yīng)堅(jiān)持正確的戰(zhàn)略認(rèn)知、平等相待、開(kāi)展對(duì)話(huà)和合作等成功經(jīng)驗(yàn)，推動(dòng)中美禁毒和執(zhí)法合作行穩(wěn)致遠(yuǎn)，更好回應(yīng)人民期待，展現(xiàn)大國(guó)擔(dān)當(dāng)。希望美方展現(xiàn)更多合作誠(chéng)意，重視并解決中方關(guān)切。

Progress made in China-U.S. drug control cooperation over past year

BEIJING， Jan. 7 （Xinhua） Chinese State Councilor and Director of the China National Narcotic Control Committee Wang Xiaohong spoke with Rahul Gupta， director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy， via video link on Tuesday.

Wang said under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state， China-U.S. cooperation on drug control has made positive progress over the past year.

Wang added that the two sides should adhere to the correct strategic perception， treat each other as equals， engage in dialogue and cooperation， and promote steady and long-term cooperation in drug control and law enforcement， to better respond to the expectations of the people and demonstrate the responsibility as major countries.

Wang also expressed hope that the U.S. side will show more sincerity for cooperation， and respect and address China's concerns.

The two sides agreed to continue to maintain cooperation and exchanges in the field of drug control.（Source：Xinhua）
