Dunhuang murals, which have been included inthe World Cultural Heritage List, refer to the paintingson the interior walls of grottoes in Dunhuang innorthwestern China’s Gansu Province. With a totalarea of more than 50,000 square meters, the muralscan be found in more than 810 caves of five grottoesin Dunhuang and span over thousands of years.
