In February， 2024， the “Splendid Huizhou Taste， Celebrate Lantern Festival Together in the Famous City -- 2024 ‘Chinese Year， Huizhou Flavor invites you to She County to celebrate the Lantern Festival” kick-off ceremony took place at No. 1 West Street in She County. As a representative achievement of She Countys intangible cultural heritage， the new book The Flying Fish Lantern， meticulously planned and heavily promoted by Anhui Children and Youth Publishing House （referred to as “ACYPH”）， held its launch event during this period.

The book launch was attended by nearly 200 leaders， guests， and media representatives， including Standing Committee Member of and head of the Publicity Department of She County Cai Guangqin， deputy county head of She County Peoples Government Yin Gang， executive deputy head of the She County Party Committee Publicity Department Hu Hongxin， member of the Party Group of She County Culture， Tourism and Sports Bureau Hong Yuhao， professor Zhuang Huafeng from the School of History and Sociology at Anhui Normal University， deputy manager Ye Dejie of She County Xinhua Bookstore， and chief editor Ouyang Chun of ACYPH， among others.

The centuries-old She County fish lantern， once again gaining widespread popularity， was reported by media outlets such as Peoples Daily and CCTV， becoming a new cultural IP for She County. This fish lantern， beloved by all and symbolizing peace and harmony， is rich in history and stories.

The Flying Fish Lantern takes the intangible cultural heritage fish lantern from Anhuis She County as its creative backdrop. It tells the story of a village girl named Yanzi who， under the caring support of the simple villagers， quickly grows up and bravely takes on the significant role of the “fish head” in the annual folk fish lantern festival.
