新加坡國立大學副教務長梁慧思，新加坡國家科學院、工程院院士王家功，市領導羅藺、陳新武、張安疆，重慶大學校長王樹新參加。

袁家軍代表市委、市政府對陳永財一行來渝表示熱烈歡迎。他說，重慶是長江上游超大城市，區(qū)位優(yōu)勢、生態(tài)優(yōu)勢、產業(yè)優(yōu)勢和體制優(yōu)勢突出。我們堅決扛起筑牢長江上游重要生態(tài)屏障的重大責任，扎實推動長江經濟帶高質量發(fā)展，堅定不移走生態(tài)優(yōu)先、綠色發(fā)展之路，為科技創(chuàng)新和產業(yè)發(fā)展提供了豐富場景。聚焦創(chuàng)新驅動發(fā)展，加快打造現代制造業(yè)集群體系，積極構建科技創(chuàng)新戰(zhàn)略布局，建設高能級研發(fā)平臺，營造一流創(chuàng)新生態(tài)，引育高層次創(chuàng)新人才，為現代化新重慶建設提供有力支撐。新加坡國立大學與重慶合作基礎堅實。希望雙方圍繞科技創(chuàng)新、人才培養(yǎng)、產業(yè)培育等加大合作力度，拓展合作空間，攜手打造更多標志性成果。

陳永財感謝重慶的熱情接待和對雙方合作的重視支持，介紹了新加坡國立大學重慶研究院建設發(fā)展情況。他說，重慶科技創(chuàng)新和產業(yè)發(fā)展?jié)摿薮?，新加坡國立大學愿與重慶企業(yè)、高校加強交流溝通、深化互利合作，積極助力重慶經濟社會高質量發(fā)展。

On October 13， Yuan Jiajun， Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee， met with the delegation of Tan Eng Chye， President of the National University of Singapore （NUS）.

Other attendees included Susanna Leong， Vice Provost of NUS， John Wang， Fellow of the Singapore National Academy of Science （SNAS） and Fellow of the Academy of Engineering， Singapore， municipal leaders Luo Lin， Chen Xinwu， and Zhang Anjiang， and Wang Shuxin， President of Chongqing University.

On behalf of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and Chongqing Municipal Government， Yuan Jiajun warmly welcomed Tan Eng Chye and his delegation. He noted that Chongqing， as a mega city in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River， boasts a prime location and prominent strengths in ecology， industry， and institution. Charged with the mission of buttressing the ecological shield in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River， Chongqing is working to promote the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt by following a path of green growth that prioritizes ecology and creating rich scenarios for sci-tech innovation and industrial development. Dedicated to innovation-driven development， the city is moving faster to build a system of modern manufacturing clusters and a strategic layout for sci-tech innovation by developing high-capacity R&D platforms， fostering a top-level innovation ecosystem， and bringing in and nurturing top-notch innovators， providing strong support for building a modern new Chongqing. Given the solid foundation of cooperation between Chongqing and NUS， the two sides are expected to expand cooperation in areas such as sci-tech innovation， personnel training， and industry development， to deliver more signature results.

Tan Eng Chye expressed his appreciation for Chongqings hospitality and support for bilateral cooperation and briefed on the development of the NUS （Chongqing） Research Institute. He noted that Chongqing holds enormous potential in sci-tech innovation and industrial development; NUS is ready to strengthen communication and exchanges and deepen win-win cooperation with companies and universities in Chongqing to contribute to high-quality social and economic development in Chongqing

Heads of NUS and relevant municipal departments also attended the meeting.
