有些同學(xué)為了套用老師平常要求背誦的句式表達(dá),強(qiáng)硬地給文章中的人物安排不合適的情感、動(dòng)作,這使得故事情節(jié)相當(dāng)突兀,例如,當(dāng)描寫(xiě)學(xué)生因?yàn)樽鲥e(cuò)事情而接受老師的批評(píng)的時(shí)候,需要描寫(xiě)其害怕的心理活動(dòng),可是有些同學(xué)直接把面對(duì)大型兇猛動(dòng)物時(shí)害怕的表達(dá)搬了過(guò)來(lái),運(yùn)用了“At the sight of theteacher, I froze with terror, too scared to move an inch.”
I was turning ten in the summer of 1995. On a warm evening while we were at dinnertable, my mom announced we were taking a trip to Niagara Falls when the summer vacationstarted so that we could celebrate my birthday there.
It all sounded incredibly good until Mom said we would be driving to Canada. As wasoften the case, my dad would do all the driving when my mom managed the directions. ButDad often took wrong turns along the way and Mom would not stop complaining.
I didn't like the car rides and looked over at my 6?year?old sister, Marlene. Shegiggled at me and rolled her eyes. Driving in the car meant Id share the back seat with mysister, who would never stop making noise unless she was asleep.
“Hey, can we take a plane there instead?”I asked with mouthfuls of hamburger andFrench fries. Sometimes, when Dad had a day off from work, we would drive out to IdlewildAirport to watch the planes take off and land. I always hoped that one day I could get to sitin my own seat on one of those planes. It would be so cool to get high up the beautiful sky.
“Sorry, honey, maybe next time,”my mother replied as she and my father exchangedglances. I turned to my sister, hoping she would say she wanted to get on a plane too, but?she simply stuck her tongue (舌頭) out at me and giggled again.
Don't they get it? I was in desperate need of a plane ride, and I needed something coolto talk about with my friends when we got home.“Sitting in the back seat of the car sucks,”I blurted out (脫口而出).
“Jay!”my mom shouted.“Watch your mouth!”
“OK, sorry, but I really want to go by plane,”I said.
“This conversation is over,”my dad growled.“Finish your eating and go to your room.”

1. On a warm evening while we were at dinner table, my mom announced we weretaking a trip to Niagara Falls when the summer vacation started so that we could celebratemy birthday there.
2. It all sounded incredibly good until Mom said we would be driving to Canada.
Driving in the car meant Id share the back seat with my sister, who would never stopmaking noise unless she was asleep.
Driving in the car為現(xiàn)在分詞作主語(yǔ),現(xiàn)在分詞的使用避免了句式的單一,并且后面用了一個(gè)定語(yǔ)從句who would never stop making noise unless she was asleep,進(jìn)一步說(shuō)明了“我”不想開(kāi)車去瀑布的原因。
“Sorry, honey, maybe next time,”my mother replied as she and my father exchangedglances.“對(duì)不起,親愛(ài)的,可能下一次(我們?cè)僮w機(jī)去吧,這次不行)?!
I turned to my sister, hoping she would say she wanted to get on a plane too, but shesimply stuck her tongue out at me and giggled again.
本句中,hoping she would say she wanted to get on a plane too用了非謂語(yǔ)作狀語(yǔ)和賓語(yǔ)從句,表達(dá)了“我”希望妹妹能站在自己這邊勸說(shuō)父母改變出行方式,但是妹妹僅僅向“我”吐了吐舌頭,而且再一次笑了,這讓人覺(jué)得她的笑內(nèi)含深意,也為后面的續(xù)寫(xiě)奠定了基礎(chǔ)。
“Jay!”my mom shouted.“Watch your mouth!”..“. This conversation is over,”my dadgrowled.“Finish your eating and go to your room.”“杰伊!”
續(xù)寫(xiě)第一段段首句是“We left two days later on Saturday morning in our car.”(兩天之后的周六早上我們開(kāi)自己的車出發(fā)了。)。 因?yàn)槔m(xù)寫(xiě)第二段段首句“Iwas told to wait until we checked in our bags at the airport.”[我被告知(繼續(xù))等待直到在機(jī)場(chǎng)辦理我們的行李托運(yùn)手續(xù)。]

Paragraph 1:
We left two days later on Saturday morning in our car. Sighing with disappointment, Ihelped carry the suitcase to the trunk of the car. There I was speechlessly sitting in theback with my sister, who was shouting loudly to express her excitement of the trip.Murmuring in a down voice, I tried to practice picturing to my friends how wonderful mycar trip would be though it was not. After what seemed like a lifetime, I felt extremelyrelieved when Marlene finally fell asleep beside me. Looking out of the window, I caughtsight of a large plane flying overhead. How I wished I were on that plane! Suddenly, Inoticed my father drove past a sign which read“Airport Parking”. Confused, I looked at mymom, hoping she could tell me what was going on. Wearing a mysterious smile on Dadsface, he asked us all to get off our car with all our belongings.
Paragraph 2:
I was told to wait until we checked in our bags at the airport. Seeing the puzzled lookon my face, Mom happily explained,“Surprised, honey? Its not our plan to go NiagaraFalls by car, just as you can see. We want to give you the choice and pretend to do theopposite in order to give you an unforgettable birthday!”My dad also wished me a happybirthday as he bent down to kiss my head while Marlene threw her arms around me,winking and giggling once again heartily, which revealed that even my sister also knew thewhole plot. Tears of joy welled up in my eyes and I couldnt help hugging them tightly, crying,“Thank you! I love you.”Words failed to express my emotion at that time. Whattouched me most was the great love, patience and tolerance from my family. I will neverforget this memorable birthday!

Emily came from a musical family. Her father was a famous pianist in his early yearsand later was a music instructor. Her mother, was a performer and composer. Emilys olderbrother was a cellist and part of the churchs choir. However, Emily wasnt like her brother. She was unable to play any instrument.
“You have to be an instrument that youre playing. Why arent you able to do it?”
Emily's father said to her, advising her to learn to play the piano. From time to time, hermother would show the wish that Emily could develop her ability to perform on the stage. Itseemed that the whole family was pushing her to play music. Every time this happened, itwas a massive pain for her. Emily felt that she wasn't part of her family. It was her dream tobecome just like the rest of them. However, no matter how hard she tried, she was unableto make it.
“Being different doesn't mean that you arent blessed with any potential or talent,”said Sarah, a teacher of Emily.“Maybe there is something interesting that I can do,”Emilythought. Every evening, Emily spent time sketching or drawing and painting in herbedroom. Her paintings showed her father on the piano and her brother on the cello as wellas her mother performing on the stage. Her paintings were vivid and the emotions were real. The paintings revealed how much her family was devoted to music. The paintings alsorevealed the things Emily was skilled at.
But her family did not even know. The only thing they knew was that Emily wasunable to sing and play one musical instrument. And they werent happy with her at all.Emily was a lover of her loved ones, and she loved them dearly. She wanted to be the prideof the family someday. How could this happen when she wasnt able to do what they askedher to accomplish?
