Smoking has long been a habit that many of us would like to get out of， but it issomething that has proven2 to be difficult. The good news is that in these daysthere has been more of a focus3 on people giving up smoking， and societies4 tryingto go tobacco-free.

World No Tobacco Day is for those who work hard to give up the habit andencouraging5 others to do so as well. People would like to celebrate6 a cleaner andhealthier society. And this is one of the reasons for World No Tobacco Day.

Over 30 years ago， the World Health Organization started World No TobaccoDay to encourage people to stop smoking. It was to make people know the dangers ofthis habit， and the thousands of lives it costs every year. The focus of this day is onimproving7 tobacco-free enviroment and lung health， and this is something thatplays an important role in society. People need to look after themselves better， andthis is one of the ways in which they can get this.

The fact is that a lot of people know smoking is bad for them， but they may notreally know the health problems that will come with a smoking habit. World NoTobacco Day is to help them realize8 this， and give people the chance to make theright changes. So that they can live a healthier life.

To celebrate World No Tobacco Day， people should help smokers cut downeveryday cigarettes. Over the following year， theyll start to feel healthier， have moreenergy9， and have more money. Wouldnt that be the greatest celebration ever？
