“中國(guó)（重慶）—?dú)W盟國(guó)家經(jīng)貿(mào)人文合作交流會(huì)“在市外事大樓舉行。

The China (Chongqing)-EU Economic, Trade, and Cultural Cooperation Seminar was held on May 25 at the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government.The seminar aimed to enhance the EU’s understanding of Chongqing’s development and promote exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and culture between the EU countries and Chongqing.

Zhao Shiqing, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Congress and President of the Chongqing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and H.E.Ambassador Jorge Toledo Albi?ana, Head of the EU Delegation to China,delivered remarks.The event was attended by ambassadors from 18 EU member states, including Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia,Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, and Sweden.Consuls-General of EU countries in Chongqing and Chengdu, including Hungary,Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, France, and Spain, and representatives from the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China were also present.Officials from relevant departments, such as the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government, Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, and Liangjiang New Area Administration, were in attendance, along with representatives from Chongqing enterprises.

為增進(jìn)歐盟國(guó)家對(duì)重慶發(fā)展情況的了解，助推雙方經(jīng)貿(mào)人文等領(lǐng)域交流與合作，5月25日，“中國(guó)(重慶)—?dú)W盟國(guó)家經(jīng)貿(mào)人文合作交流會(huì)”在市外事大樓舉行。

市人大常委會(huì)副主任、市人民對(duì)外友好協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)趙世慶和歐盟駐華代表團(tuán)團(tuán)長(zhǎng)、大使庹?qǐng)蛘d致辭。奧地利、比利時(shí)、克羅地亞、塞浦路斯、捷克、丹麥、芬蘭、法國(guó)、德國(guó)、愛(ài)爾蘭、意大利、拉脫維亞、馬耳他、葡萄牙、羅馬尼亞、斯洛伐克、西班牙、瑞典共18個(gè)歐盟成員國(guó)駐華大使，匈牙利、意大利、荷蘭、奧地利、法國(guó)、西班牙等歐盟國(guó)家駐渝蓉總領(lǐng)事，中國(guó)歐盟商會(huì)代表，以及市政府外辦、市發(fā)展改革委、市商務(wù)委、市文化旅游委、兩江新區(qū)管委會(huì)等部門(mén)負(fù)責(zé)人及部分重慶企業(yè)代表出席會(huì)議。

The EU is a major global economy and a significant regional international organization.In 2022, China and the EU became each other’s second-largest trading partners.This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and the EU.The EU holds great importance as a partner for Chongqing in external exchanges, serving as the city’s second-largest trading partner and a significant source of foreign investment.The two sides maintain extensive exchanges in economy, trade, investment, science and technology, culture, and local friendship.This collaboration rests upon a solid foundation and offers vast prospects for future cooperation.

This marked the first large-scale visit organized by the EU Delegation to China outside of Beijing in recent years, with Chongqing being their first destination.

H.E.Helena S?ngeland, Ambassador of Sweden to China, Massimo Bagnasco, Vice President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and President of the European Chamber Southwest Chapter,and relevant officials from Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce,Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development,and Liangjiang New Area addressed the seminar.

Participants at the seminar unanimously recognized the strong foundation and immense potential for cooperation between the EU and Chongqing.They expressed their commitment to bolster communication,build mutual trust, and take bilateral cooperation to greater depth and breadth, working together to create a better future featuring mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.

During their visit to Chongqing, the delegation explored the city’s economic and social development and plans at the Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery.They also visited the Swedish Sandvik Coromant Center, gaining insights into Chongqing’s business environment through a briefing on the company’s operational performance.

歐盟是世界重要經(jīng)濟(jì)體，國(guó)際重要的區(qū)域性國(guó)際組織。2022年，中國(guó)和歐盟互為第二大貿(mào)易伙伴。今年正值中國(guó)與歐盟建立全面戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系20周年。歐盟是我市對(duì)外交往重要對(duì)象，第二大貿(mào)易合作伙伴和重要外資來(lái)源地，雙方在經(jīng)貿(mào)、投資、科技、人文、地方友好等領(lǐng)域交往聯(lián)系廣泛，合作基礎(chǔ)良好，合作前景廣闊。

此次代表團(tuán)來(lái)渝訪問(wèn)，是近年來(lái)歐盟駐華代表團(tuán)首次組織大規(guī)模使節(jié)團(tuán)離京外訪活動(dòng)，首站即選擇了重慶。

會(huì)上，瑞典駐華大使宋蓮，中國(guó)歐盟商會(huì)副主席、西南分會(huì)主席馬曉利等與會(huì)嘉賓，市發(fā)展改革委、市商務(wù)委、市文化旅游委、兩江新區(qū)有關(guān)負(fù)責(zé)人作交流發(fā)言。

與會(huì)嘉賓一致表示，歐盟與重慶有著良好的合作基礎(chǔ)，未來(lái)還有很大的合作空間。愿增強(qiáng)交往、增進(jìn)互信，不斷拓展雙方合作的廣度與深度，實(shí)現(xiàn)互利共贏，攜手共創(chuàng)美好明天。

在渝期間，代表團(tuán)參觀了市規(guī)劃展覽館，了解我市經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展情況及未來(lái)規(guī)劃；參觀了瑞典山特維克可樂(lè)滿中心，通過(guò)企業(yè)對(duì)其在渝運(yùn)營(yíng)情況的展示介紹，實(shí)地感受重慶營(yíng)商環(huán)境。
