Coffee and Money

A man goes to a coffee shop and the waiter comes over and asks，“Can I helpyou， sir？”

The man answers，“What does a cup of coffee cost？”

The waiter says，“That would be $2.60.”

“Alright， I’ll have one，”says the man. He takes 26 dimes1 out of his walletand throws them all on the ground. The waiter doesn’t want to make trouble2， sohe just picks up the money and brings the man his coffee.

A week later， the same man goes the coffee shop. He orders a coffee againbut this time he pays with a five dollar bill.

The waiter smelled an opportunity3 for revenge4. So when he brings thecoffee， he throws 48 nickels5 on the ground as change6. The man drinks his coffeeleaving the change on the ground. A few minutes later， he throws two dimes on thefloor and orders a second coffee.
