A sumptuous banquet hall bathed in swirling lights is not the place for me.I slip out quietly into darkness.Trees in the woods stand like an army of ghosts.Stars are twinkling like teeny-tiny phantoms. It’s great to be away from the boisterous bustle.A stroll under a starry sky through the cool mist is enough to drive away all worldly worries.
2Oh my god of fate! I know I’m trapped and dogged by misery. But I have eyes like those of a nightingale, able to see in the dark.I see ugly faces of spirits.I see will-o’-the-wisps.
3Oh my god of fate! I know I’m trapped and dogged by misery. But like a cuckoo on a shaded perch, I never stop humming sad tunes. As long as tree branches don’t wither, as long as blood still runs in my veins, I’ll continue my journey, however bumpy the road ahead is.
“It goads me on.”作為“Sadness fuels my life.”
4Oh my god of fate! I know I’m trapped and dogged by misery. But I’m struggling with a wounded heart.I groan and moan.I sob and wail.Sadness fuels my life.It goads me on.I’ll fight until my soul is turned into dust.
5Oh my god of fate! I know I’m trapped and dogged by misery.I’m inured to gory horror.I would not be scared if one day even blood evaporated like smoke going up in the air.I know there’s no way to cover up all the wounds and injuries I’ve sustained.I don’t have a soft side, and can in no way bring others comfort, much less happiness. All I’m capable of is jolt you out of your beautiful dreams, and turn your joy into everlasting sorrow.Maybe this is an inevitable payback.
6A sumptuous banquet hall bathed in swirling lights is not the place for me.I slip out quietly into darkness.Trees in the woods stand like an army of ghosts.Stars are twinkling like teeny-tiny phantoms.I walk back and forth in the starlight, like an escaped prisoner on the run, temporarily breaking free of shackles. It’s great to be away from the boisterous bustle.A stroll under a starry sky through the cool mist is enough to drive
away all worldly worries.■
I walk back and forth in the starlight 就已經(jīng)涵蓋了所有細節(jié)。 □
