請問老師，在下午一點能用at thirteen oclock 這種表達方式嗎？

這樣表達不可以。oclock 只能與one至twelve連用表示整點。建議改為at one oclock in the afternoon ，但不能寫成 at one oclock p.m. 因為oclock 不與a.m.或p.m.同時用。

有這樣一組對話：A： Has anyone seen my ruler？ B： Yes ，here you are！我想知道這里的here you are！可不可以說成here it is！兩者是不是在任何場合都可以互換。

這個對話中的here you are！是可以用here it is！來替換的。但并不意味著所有的場合都可以使用here it is！

here it is！中的it，表示對話雙方指的是同一個事物。

但如果指的是不同的事物，則不能用here it is！如：A：I forget to bring my umbrella. B： Dont worry. Use mine. Here you are！這里A指的雨傘很明顯和B提到的不是同一把。

Here they are！（指復數(shù)）和Here it is（指單數(shù)）在這方面的用法一樣。

有這樣一個句子：All kinds of people join these shows.在我的觀念中，join后應該接一個組織，表示成為其中的一員。但是為什么在這個句子里接的是節(jié)目？

join這個詞本義是become a member of。這里作者之所以使用join而沒有用join in或take part in，是因為作者想強調(diào)各類人都可以成為這些節(jié)目的參賽者： All kinds of people can become a contestant（參賽者） of these shows.這里的become a contestant of其實就是become a member of。
