My favorite science fiction

My favorite science fiction is A Miracle of Rare Design， which moved me a lot. Chapter by chapter， I sunk into the story of a man who—despite his success as an anthropologist—doesn't feel like he belongs anywhere and who realizes that no matter how in?depth his studies of alien cultures can be， he'll never fully grasp their mindset and understanding.

Although I still own the copy I bought back then， recently I also purchased an e?book to have a chance of experiencing the book in its original language， English.

They came filled with holiday greetings and words of encouragement. Through the cards and letters from strangers， Amy glimpsed a world full of people who truly cared about each other. She realized that no amount or form of teasing could ever make her feel lonely again. Additionally， Amy did get her wish for a special day without teasing at school. Teachers and students talked together about how bad teasing can make others feel and that everyone deserves to be treated with respect， dignity and warmth.

Then a voice in the back of the room angrily shouted， “We didn't come to see this picture. We want to see his great works of art.” But the auctioneer continued， “Will somebody bid for this painting？ Who will take the son？”

Finally a voice came from the back of the room. “I'll give $10 for the painting.” It was the gardener of the father and his son. Being a poor man， it was all he could afford. “We have $10.Who will bid $20？” No response. “Going once， twice， sold for $10！” “Now the auction is over！” The auctioneer laid down his hammer and explained， “When I was called to conduct this auction， I was told that only the painting of the son would be auctioned. And whoever purchased the picture of the son would receive all the father's possessions， including the paintings.”
