Unearthed from the ancestral temple of the Qin Dynasty in Fengxiang county
This golden beast was made by casting. It appears as if it’s a tiger, but with the long horns of a ram, four hooves, two wings and a curled tail. There are two rivets, each 1.3 cm long on its back. It was likely once a decorative object for the shaft of a wooden chariot.
