一、文體解讀
新聞報道是記敘文的一種,其特點是以事實為依據(jù),對事件發(fā)生的過程給以明確的、實事求是的報道。寫新聞報道要確保事件的真實性和準確性,語言要簡潔精煉、通俗易懂。
英語新聞報道通常包括四個部分:
1. 標題:標題要提煉報道內(nèi)容的“精華”以吸引讀者閱讀,標題應當簡潔明了。
2. 導語:導語是報道開頭的第一段或第一句話,導語簡明扼要地揭示出報道的核心內(nèi)容。
3. 主體:主體是報道的主要部分,它用充足的事實表現(xiàn)主題,是對導語內(nèi)容的進一步展開和闡釋,使報道更加具體可信。
4. 結語:通常是最后一句話或最后一段話,對全文內(nèi)容作概括性的總結或對新聞事件的發(fā)展趨勢做出預測。
英文新聞報道的時態(tài)以一般過去時為主,人稱通常使用第三人稱。
二、高分句式
一句話介紹事件:
A terrible storm hit / struck... 一場可怕的風暴襲擊了……

三、實戰(zhàn)演練
星光中學(Xingguang High School)近期舉行了一次登山活動。假定你是學校英語報的記者,請你寫一篇短文,報道此次活動。內(nèi)容包括:
1. 時間與地點:4月10日,大青山 (Daqing Mountain);
2. 活動的過程;
3. 你對于這次活動的評論。
注意:1. 詞數(shù)100左右;2. 可適當增加細節(jié),以使行文連貫。
聯(lián)想詞匯:

Bathed in sunshine, we jumped and cheered with joy. (現(xiàn)在分詞短語作時間狀語)
3. 這次活動使我們受益很多。
The activity was of great benefit to us. (be of great benefit to sb.)
4. 活動不僅讓我們親近大自然,還讓我們從繁重的學業(yè)中放松,同時也促進了我們之間的友誼。
Not only did it get us close to nature and give us relaxation from heavy school work, but also it promoted the friendship among us. (not only... but also... 連接兩個并列分句, 第一個分句要部分倒裝)

We Climbed Daqing Mountain!
In order to encourage the students to take outdoor exercise, our school organized a mountain-climbing activity on April 10. Hundreds of us took part in it.
It was a nice day. At 8:00 a.m., we gathered at the foot of Daqing Mountain and set out for the top in high spirits. All the way we were chatting, singing and laughing, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. When some fell behind, others would come and offer help. About 2 hours later, we all reached the top. Bathed in sunshine, we jumped and cheered with joy.
The activity was of great benefit to us. Not only did it get us close to nature and give us relaxation from heavy school work, but also it promoted the friendship among us. What a wonderful time!
