3月20至22日，埃塞俄比亞駐華大使特肖梅·托加來渝訪問。22日，重慶市政府黨組成員蔡允革會見了特肖梅大使。蔡允革表示，重慶與埃塞俄比亞友好交往密切，特別是埃塞俄比亞在渝設(shè)立總領(lǐng)事館后，雙方在經(jīng)貿(mào)往來、人文交流等領(lǐng)域開展了多種形式且卓有成效的交流合作，希望繼續(xù)深化重慶與埃塞俄比亞在地方友好、商貿(mào)人文等領(lǐng)域的務(wù)實往來，擴大合作規(guī)模，提升合作水平。

特肖梅表示將積極支持并推動埃塞俄比亞與重慶在上述領(lǐng)域更進一步合作，期待在新冠肺炎疫情得到有效控制之后，開展更多商貿(mào)人文雙向交流。在渝期間，特肖梅大使還與市政府外辦負(fù)責(zé)人進行工作會談，訪問了重慶三圣實業(yè)股份有限公司、萬虎機電有限責(zé)任公司和恒弘家具有限公司，商洽促進經(jīng)貿(mào)合作。

From March 20 to 22， Teshome Toga， Ethiopian ambassador to China， visited Chongqing. On March 22， Cai Yunge， member of the Party Leadership Group of Chongqing Municipal People's Government， met with Ambassador Teshome Toga. Cai Yunge said that Chongqing has enjoyed close friendly ties with Ethiopia. Especially after Ethiopia has set up the Consulate General in the city， the two sides have carried out various forms of fruitful communication and cooperation in economic， trade and cultural exchanges and other fields， hoping to continue deepening the pragmatic exchanges between Chongqing and Ethiopia in local amity， trade and cultural exchanges and other fields， expanding the cooperation scale， and enhancing cooperation level.

Ambassador Teshome Toga said he would actively support and propel further cooperation between Ethiopia and Chongqing in the above-mentioned fields and expected to carry out more two-way trade and cultural exchanges after the effective control of COVID-19. During his stay in Chongqing， Ambassador Teshome Toga also held working talks with the leaders of Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government and visited Chongqing Sansheng Industrial Co.， Ltd.， Chongqing Wanhu Motor Co.， Ltd. and Henghong Furniture （Chongqing） Manufacturing Co.， Ltd. to discuss and promote economic and trade cooperation.
