In the middle of August, Contemporary Amperex Technology and Shanghai Municipal Government entered into Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation, which indicates that Contemporary Amperex Technology plans to establish its global innovation center, international function head,future energy research institute and highend manufacturing base in Shanghai.With respect to project promotion, on the same day,Contemporary Amperex Technology, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy And Information Technology, Minhang District Government and Shanghai Jiaotong University entered into Framework Agreement on Future Energy Research Institute; Contemporary Amperex Technology, Lingang New District Management Committee and Lingang Group entered into Production Base Investment Agreement.Specifically, global innovation center will be focusing on innovative business and deployment such as “advanced material innovation”, “structural design innovation”,“extreme manufacturing innovation” and“business model innovation”.It will also perform some international business functions.Future Energy Research Institute will be co-founded by Contemporary Amperex Technology and Shanghai Jiaotong University,which works as the cutting-edge platform combining “scientific innovation” and “talent cultivation” and developing new energy cutting-edge technologies for the future.High-end manufacturing base will rely on the Company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies to construct green and efficient smart plants in Lingang New District.The importance Contemporary Amperex Technology attaches to the cooperation with Shanghai is well manifested by swift implementation of these projects that are featured by internationalization, technical innovation, cutting-edge development and high-tech nature.
