In 2018， Chinese sportswear brand Li-Ning launched a series of shoes and clothes themed on“Wu Dao，” inspired by the principles of Taoism， and highlighted them at New York Fashion Week. The debut was regarded as a milestone event marking the onset of “Guochao，”or “Chinese fashion trend，” which has driven demand for domestic brands and products that often incorporate Chinese traditional culture and style.

“Made in China” is moving past Chinese manufacturing from an international perspective as “Designed in China”becomes the commercial and cultural goal for the new generation of Chinese people.
