My hometown， Haimen， is a beautiful city. It is bordered by the Yellow Sea in the east and the Yangtze River in the south， only separated from Shanghai by a river.

Haimen once was a small green island， sparsely populated（人口稀少）， with clumps of reeds（蘆葦）. Time flies， it becomes a rich and beautiful land. People here lead a comfortable life.

Haimen Mutton（海門羊肉） is our world-famous local cuisine. Winter is the best season to have braised（燉熟的） mutton with soy sauce. It tastes tender and delicious. Hospitable（好客的） Haimen people always treat their guests with Haimen Mutton to show their warm welcome.
