Brief introduction:
A primary school student, Qi Xiaoqi, returned from an adventure from the boat-shaped country house and was unfortunately chosen to be the reciter of a new spell cast by an old demon, the Prophecy Demon. After failing to lure Qi Xiaoqi, the Prophecy Demon captured some of her friends, taking them to the devil’s house. The demon then stole the words on a confidential document kept by Qi’s father, and turned Qi’s mother into a little puppet. Qi Xiaoqi was to arrive at the agreed upon passage within a specified time. There was a strange phone booth which then turned into a dream bubble, becoming useless to the devil house after Qi accidentally dialed the special line to the Dream Queen.

All of a sudden, the sky and the earth turned silvery white and it started raining cats and dogs. Within no time at all, the ponding overtook the two flights of steps in the garden, and there were cup-sized rain puddles everywhere. A few minutes, or maybe even just a few seconds later, the rain suddenly stopped. A flock of bizarre birds came out of nowhere and then suddenly disappeared. The dark clouds gathered together over Shanbei City.
A girl stood on the balcony of the 12th floor of Building 4 in Drawer Neighborhood, her big eyes opened wide without even blinking, looking worried as she watched the scene that had just unfolded. She appeared to be about ten years old with a puppet dressed as a fairy in her arms, whose eyes swung from side to side a few times every now and then.
“The wind has stopped! The wind has stopped!” A dark green parrot flew out from a corner of the garden in a panic.
The girl’s little hand trembled as her eyes followed after the parrot.
“Time has stopped, time has stopped!” The parrot whirled above the girl’s head and arduously flapped its wings, leaving the district.
“Time has stopped?” The girl lifted her left wrist and took a look at the green mechanical watch spinning onerously. The dial was engraved with a nose, a pair of eyes, a mouth, and a pair of exaggeratedly large ears resting on either side of the watch. Underneath were two little hands wearing a pair of white gloves, and two little feet with a pair of lace-up white shoes.
“Little Qi, six o’clock. Little Qi, six o’clock.” The watch told the time in a mechanical voice, it seemed to answer the girl’s question just then.
“ Little Qi, hurry up. Little Qi, hurry up.” The watch continued to shout in the mechanical voice.
“Got it, Genius.” The girl nodded to the watch, walked into the study carrying a puppet, and turned a printed piece of paper over, writing hastily:
Dear Mum and Dad,
Hi!
Forgive me for not being able to wait for you to come home.
As she wrote, Qi looked up at the family photo hanging on the wall, tears dropping.
“ Little Qi, email. Little Qi, email.” The watch Genius spoke again.
The computer did show a new email notification in the corner. The girl glanced at it and immediately a red line appeared on the screen.
Qi Xiaoqi, please stay!
The girl froze there. The line kept copying itself rapidly and the computer kept turning the pages over and over as if it was going to crash ...
