My uncle was a forest officer and this time he brought me there.His house was in the forest.When we arrived,Eric saw us and came rushing to open the garden gate.He was an elderly man who did my uncle's cooking and other household work.

Soon my uncle left for work.I wondered how to pass my time.There was a small pond behind the house and I liked to sit beside it.I got up.Immediately Papal moved her tail to signify she had seen me move.I could no longer bear the feeling of being constantly watched by two silent eyes.I walked off angrily and sat beside the pond.“WOOSH!!!” I heard a splashing sound.I looked up.Papal had dived into the water and was swimming in the pond.Soon she came out of the pond and sat breathing in front of me.Then Papal growled.
After a while,Papal growled again—this time there was something urgent in her growl.I could not help turning back and looking at her.She was staring at something in front of me.I looked in the same direction and broke into a cold sweat! There was a snake less than six feet away!

一、分析語篇,梳理基本要素
要想續(xù)寫內(nèi)容與所給材料內(nèi)容連貫、銜接緊密,必須充分了解所給材料大意。仔細(xì)閱讀所給材料,充分理解閱讀材料的內(nèi)容,掌握作者通過材料想要傳達(dá)的意思。
本文是一篇記敘文,文章分析如下:
二、閱讀續(xù)寫開頭語,展開合理想象
我們可以基于原文和續(xù)寫段落首句提供的信息構(gòu)思要續(xù)寫的故事情節(jié)。這一構(gòu)思分為四步:
第一步,根據(jù)已給出的文本判斷文章的立意。
根據(jù)文章標(biāo)題 “The tiger rescued me from the snake”可推斷出本文的立意是“人與動(dòng)物的友情”。
第二步,根據(jù)續(xù)寫第二段所給出的段首句倒推續(xù)寫第一段一定要寫什么。
分析一下第二段所給出的段首句 “Then I found myself hugging Papal.”可知,續(xù)寫第一段肯定要寫Papal幫助作者從蛇口逃生。如此構(gòu)思能確保續(xù)寫的兩段是能相銜接的。
第三步,圍繞續(xù)寫第一段所給出的段首句進(jìn)行提問構(gòu)思:
(1)What was the author's reaction when he saw the snake attacking him?
(2)How did the author escape from the snake?
(3)How did the tiger help the author escape?
第四步,圍繞續(xù)寫第二段所給出的段首句進(jìn)行提問構(gòu)思:

三、潤色成篇
在續(xù)寫的過程中要注意銜接的問題,做到情節(jié)連貫,語言風(fēng)格一致。從銜接的部位來分,銜接有三種:1.兩段的續(xù)寫與所給短文的銜接;2.每段的續(xù)寫與續(xù)寫段落首句之間的銜接;3.續(xù)寫的兩段之間的銜接。同時(shí)要注意語法、句型,以及所用詞的準(zhǔn)確性。比如,刻畫人物形象時(shí)要選用恰當(dāng)?shù)膭?dòng)詞使其栩栩如生;描寫人物心理活動(dòng)時(shí)要善于使用一些形容詞或副詞使其細(xì)微深入。
