The National Gallery is the British national art museum built on the north side of Trafalgar Square in London. A month before my first marathon， one of my ankles was injured and that meant not running for two weeks， leaving me only two weeks to train. Yet， I was determined to go ahead.

I remember back to my 7th year in school. In my first PE class， the teacher required us to run laps and then hit a softball. I didnt do well. He later informed me that I was “not athletic”.

Many people think of Philadelphia as the place where the Liberty Bell， a symbol of Americas independence， is located. But there is another side to the city—its murals （壁畫）. In neighborhoods throughout the city， you will find more than 4，000 murals painted on the sides of buildings.

The murals are of different sizes， shapes and colors. Some murals are painted directly onto the buildings. Others are painted on paper and then fitted onto the wall like a puzzle （謎）.

The Mural Arts Program began in 1984 as part of Philadelphias Anti-Graffiti Network. Today， lots of artists are painting murals with the help of community members.
