It is what we say and do to show compassion to others that can make somebody elses day extra special. I believe that a simple compliment can mean a lot more than one can think. We all know that gratitude is the best attitude. When our heart is filled with gratitude， it intuitively appreciates and thanks others.

I was a high school student in Kenidy School， located not far off Haidemood Park. It is a common high public school， you know. The students come from the nearby neighborhood and not all of them will go to good colleges. The teachers come and go all the time， but they dont just pass like the wind， leaving no trace. Many of them are devoted to their work and appreciated by their students. I was one of them who was blessed by those dedicated teachers.

The last semester in my final year of high school， I had a kind teacher whom I can never forget. I was not necessarily the best student when it came to writing tests. Actually， I had to work extra hard to get good marks， although I enjoyed learning. Anyway， this class that I truly enjoyed still had me struggle to do well on my tests. My teacher willingly helped me and was always willing to answer my questions， and I greatly appreciated it. He was a remarkable teacher， always reaching out to students and helping them achieve their greatest potential. Never did he show any impatience to us.

Although I have left school for a long time， many happy memories still stuck to my heart. I remember the day of my writing final exam， just as usual， I was the last one still writing in the exam room， reviewing my exam paper， while everyone else had already finished and left the room. After turning in my exam paper， there were only two in the room， the teacher and me.
