考點(diǎn)1：情態(tài)動詞should含義及特征

情態(tài)動詞should作“應(yīng)該;應(yīng)當(dāng);可以”講，用以表達(dá)職責(zé)和義務(wù)，提出勸告，沒有人稱和數(shù)的變化，不能獨(dú)立作謂語，后接動詞原形一起構(gòu)成謂語。其否定形式在其后加not，可縮寫為shouldnt;變?yōu)橐话阋蓡柧鋾r，should 提到主語之前。

考點(diǎn)2：情態(tài)動詞should句式結(jié)構(gòu)

（1） 肯定句：主語+should+動詞原形+其他

（2） 否定句：主語+should not / shouldnt+動詞原形+其他

（3） 一般疑問句：Should+主語+動詞原形+其他

考點(diǎn)3：情態(tài)動詞should具體使用范圍

（1） 表示委婉地提出意見或建議，一般意為“應(yīng)該;應(yīng)當(dāng)”。

You should eat lots of healthy food. 你應(yīng)該多吃些健康的食品。

You should help each other. 你們應(yīng)該互相幫助。

（2） 表示義務(wù)、責(zé)任，也意為“應(yīng)該;應(yīng)當(dāng)”。

You should study hard. 你應(yīng)當(dāng)努力學(xué)習(xí)。

He should pay for the books. 他應(yīng)當(dāng)付書錢。

（3） 表示命令和要求，語氣比較強(qiáng)烈。

We should respect our teachers and parents. 我們應(yīng)該尊敬老師和父母。

You shouldnt be so careless. 你不應(yīng)該這么粗心。

（4） 表示預(yù)測和可能性。

He should be a teacher. 他可能是一位老師。

They should be in the classroom. 他們應(yīng)該在教室里。

（5） 表示說話人的感情，如驚奇、憤怒、失望等，多見于以why， who， how， what等開頭的特殊疑問句中。
