Yan Su， a great Chinese playwright1 and lyricist2， was regarded as one of the famous lyricists in China. Many of his works are very popular with people.
閻肅是中國的一位偉大的劇作家和詞作家，他是中國著名的詞作家之一。他的很多作品極受人們歡迎。
Yan Su was born in Baoding City of Hebei Province on May 9， 1930. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1953 and served as the vice president3 of China Theater Association4. Yan Su was a versatile5 artist and he participated in creative work and screenwriting for a great number of TV galas6. He also worked as a judge on several CCTV talent shows. He died of illness in Beijing on Feb 12， 2016， at the age of 86.
1930年5月9日，閻肅出生于河北省保定市。他于1953年加入中國共產(chǎn)黨，曾擔(dān)任中國戲劇家協(xié)會副主席。閻肅是一個多才多藝的藝術(shù)家，他曾在相當(dāng)多的電視晚會中擔(dān)當(dāng)總策劃和總撰稿，還在很多央視的選秀節(jié)目中任評委。2016年2月12日，他于北京病逝，享年86歲。
Yan Su wrote a lot of popular songs in his life， the most wonderful one of which is the opening theme song， Dare to Ask Where is the Road， of the 1982 CCTV hit drama Journey to the West. His masterpieces were Dare to Ask Where Is the Road， Great Wall Great， My Love to the Blue Sky of Motherland， Red Light， Sister Jiang and so on.
閻肅一生創(chuàng)作了大量的流行歌曲，其中大家耳熟能詳?shù)囊皇妆闶?982年央視熱播電視劇《西游記》的主題曲《敢問路在何方》。他的代表作有《敢問路在何方》《長城長》《我愛祖國的藍(lán)天》《紅燈照》和《江姐》等。
Yan has left the world more than 1，000 pieces of artworks with ambition7， virtue8 and warmth， which has encouraged and inspired generations of Chinese people.
閻肅給世人留下1000多首有筋骨、有道德、有溫度的文藝精品佳作，鼓舞和激勵了一代代中國人。
